In her new interview with W, Ellen Degeneres and g/f Portia de Rossi reveal that they want to have a baby, but are still undecided as to whose oven the bun would bake in.

Ellen DeGeneres and her partner Portia de Rossi want to have a baby, but cannot decide which of them will give birth to the child. The chat show host and the former Ally McBeal star have been together for two years and would like to become parents, but must first decide who will carry the baby.

Portia told W magazine: “We would like to have children some day. Ellen would carry.”

Ellen replied: “That will never happen!”

I think, ultimately, Portia's probably going to get stuck getting preggo. I can't see Ellen doing it. Do they even make sensible maternity pantsuits?

They DO make sensible maternity pantsuits but Portia de Rossi's body is much better suited for the pregnancy…she has the hips. Ellen is too old. Whatever, their baby is going to be so cute!

    oops.

Yeah Maria, but Portia's body is better in general, why ruin it with stretch marks and saggy skin? Ellen already looks like she had a couple kids. It's not like she cares what her boobs look like. I think it would be funny if Ellen carried, broke some stereotypes and what not.

Angela! You have a great body and you have had a kid, so I don't know about all that "ruin" talk—you bitch. You know I am sensitive about this. You're right though, Ellen would make some hilarious jokes about engorgement.

Yes, I definitely see Portia being the "mommy" and Ellen the "daddy." As Ellen ALWAYS 'wears the pants"!

Oh, God no. Girls, please just adopt. Portia we know your boney a** is just too vain to get preggers. (ooooh…weight gain, so not worth a kid). And who wants to see Carson Kressley from Queer Eye For the Straight Guy pregnant? (C'mon, she's obviously raided his closet for that photo. Don't think she won't have him design her maternity wear…Those two were seperated at birth)

Isn't Ellen like 50? I think her ship has sailed when it comes to carrying babies. Portia is still young enough but I don't see her doing it either… would Justin Timberlake be the sperm donor??

Good for them. I have found Ellen strangely attractive since she has been dating Portia. Portia has always been really attractive and I think would have less complications during the pregnancy. When I look through the previous posts, specifically Mr. T.'s "carpet" post, I wonder if it would really be a bad thing if the world ended. What an intolerant society we live in.

Ellen looks ugly. Nothing worse than aging lesbians whining for being a parent. Sucks to be them.

Mr. T, you disappoint me, I was hoping some awful Donut, Fish Taco, or Fur Burger and side order of thighs joke.

I can think of a lot of things worse than aging lesbians "whining for being a parent" [sic]

How about Andrea Yates and her 5 children.

How about Middle-Eastern Fathers performing barbaric clitoral circumcisions on their young daughters.

What kind of f-ed up generalization is that? You realize that practice is more African, right? And even then, still a generalization.

So you agree that it happened, otherwise it wouldn't be a generalization.

It was a religious and medical belief of certain Islamic sub-groups not exclusive to Africa. The fact that it happend to one little girl is one too many.

AND I STILL BELIEVE IT TO BE A LOT WORSE THAN AGING LESBIANS WANTING TO HAVE CHILDREN!

Ok, if you are so concerned, Oxfam, Amnesty International, and Unicef have room for you on their website. You can even donate money to prove just how important the issue is to you.

This is a gossip blog and the comments section is for posting things gossip related. Don't be surprised if the subject matter is superficial.

Just didn't agree with the "Middle-Eastern Fathers" generalization. That is a huge group of people and the percent that believe in female circumcision is small. It would be like saying "American fathers marrying their teenage nieces" (as practiced by a small sect of fundamental LDS living in Colorado City)

I find your response amusing "Go donate money to the cause "???

Among three other charitable organizations, Amnesty International has been receiving bi-weekly donations from me via payroll deduction for sixteen years.

Should I donate my foreskin, too?

"Just didn't agree with the "Middle-Eastern Fathers" generalization"

And I didn't agree that there is nothing worse than aging lesbians wanting to be parents. I suppose you agree with the generalization that there is nothing worse than aging lesbians wanting to be parents???

Also amusing…."Don't be surprised if the subject matter is superficial"

I COUNT ON THE SUBJECT MATTER HERE BEING SUPERFICIAL!!!

How much longer is it going to be before people stop bitching about the new direction the site has taken? Seriously, Molly-fans–if she cared as much about this blog as you seem to, she'd still be here, wouldn't she? If you don't like what Cord is doing, please feel free NOT to read the site anymore.

Cord, I think you're doing a great job. I don't think you're sexist, homophobic, or an idiot. Though I think perhaps you should shed the mollygood name and go start a website of your own–I'd certainly follow you there.

Hear hear. I've only been reading this blog for about half a year. I think editorial commentary is an important part of blogs and I don't find your commentary sexist, homophobic, or idiototic. Some will disagree and you'll more often hear from them. The people that do agree will read a post and move on.

If you start a new site, a lot of us will follow
