Damned If She Do...

Here's the part when all the idiots who said Hillary Clinton is a gruff, lesbian robot who can't be president backpedal and say they meant to say she is a weeping, fragile schoolgirl who can't be president.

she shouldn't be president because she's the devil, it has nothing to do with her being a woman.

Not that I would have ever voted for this crazy bitch to begin with but when she put on a redneck accent to fit in with Southerners she lost me for sure.

She's crying because she's scared shitless she'll loose to Obama. Her emotion? Clinton-uber-alles. Go Obama, kick her ass out of here!

If they weren't forced tears, I'd be sympathetic. Real tears aren't weakness, but fake tears reek of desperation. Obama is going to wipe the floor with her.

I was pretty sure the southern accent was for a line of a speech - as a joke. No?

Those "tears" seemed pretty genuine. All I know is that if that is crying, I need another word for the mess I become when I cry. Like because Little Nemo had a gimpy fin! So sad!

Yeah..no one should buy this. Isn't her platform "EXPERIENCE", "EXPERIENCE"…isn't she always saying that is why she is better suited for the job than Barack?! My question is, what is the purpose of all that experience if you don't know how to use it to handle pressure situations.

Secondly, she is currently campaigning! She is not in office yet, merely campaigning. If she is this emotional now…how will it be in the oval office? But again, I don't by the tears anyway so….

Can I just say that I don't "buy" that showing emotion of being affected by something equates to not handling high pressure situations. Stoicism isn't always the best response. If Edwards had choked up, would it be any different? I think so - he would face some ridicule, but also some support for showing his humanity or whatever. Tears or choking up don't automatically equate to impaired judgement. And my guess is that if she were a man, no one would say it did.

This is the one time when I actually liked her. I'm not voting for her or anything, but she always comes across as being so fake and cold to me. This was at least one time where she seemed human and took the stick out of her ass.

As far as the accent goes, I can sympathize with her. I lived in Atlanta for a few years and although I don't have a southern accent I sound like Jeff Foxworthy for real ya'll whenever I talk to my friends back there.

Wow, I really am the only Libertarian on here, now that ETwin is MIA!!!

I called this strategy the night she lost Iowa, she's gonna have to play the woman card if she has any hopes of battling Obama.

Prepare for this to get veeeery interesting…

I live in Atlanta too blah. I've lived here now for 20 years and(hopefully)I dont start talking like a damn hillbilly just because I'm talking to hillbillies….not that there is anything wrong with hillbillies. I plan to be one when I grow up.

Southern women would NEVER vote her into office. It'd be a moral affront.

I would LOVE a woman president someday - but I refuse to vote for someone just because they have two X-chromosomes. The first female president will be able to play hardball with the boys without reducing her femininity to that of a mirthless automaton.

Isn't it weird that some people out there have the most "rootinest tootinest" (I'm quoting from Cord) accent, while others have nothing at all? I dated a guy from Snelville who's parents sounded like they were related, but he had absolutely no accent.

It is weird. And I do sort of know what you mean, my sister seems to take on any accent of the person she talks to, she says she cant help it. Is embarassing.

Damned if you do is right. Poor lady. She will certainly have my vote (which she had before the tears and will have afterwards). It makes me a little queasy to think that everyone on here believes that the others running against her aren't as ambitious, political, and engineered as Hillary is. They are all politians, they all have extensive PR, and they all have massive egos that seriously make them believe that they are going to be the best leaders of the free world.
