This is the third development today in the Lindsay Lohan-Michael Lohan-Samantha Ronson feud, which just goes to show how eager these people are to lash out via any media outlet who will listen. Michael upped the ante this afternoon by responding to a classier publication than normal: ABC News. It's a sad day when ABC News has gotten in on the Lohan family drama.
Michael had some not-so-nice things to say about both Lindsay and Samantha, then he threw Dina into the mix by saying she's a two-faced mother more concerned with being her daughter's friend. Tell us something we didn't know, Mike. Most endearing is the part where he insults Lindsay's decreasing movie salary — but he wants her to be "in a good place." What a sweetheart.
It's really difficult to explain the disaster that is Michael Lohan's view of the world, so we'll let him speak for himself (after the jump).
Who's out of control? Whose life is out of control? Give me a break. Going from place to place, being dragged around by Samantha so she can make more money off of Lindsay being there when she spins … She's gone from making $7 million to less than a million a movie. Who's out of control? I go to church. I go and help people in rehab. That's control. How can she say I'm out of control?
I want Lindsay to be in a good place. When I started looking at what Samantha was doing, dragging Lindsay to clubs, drinking around Lindsay … Samantha is one of the biggest problems in her life. That's what Dina told me. I'm reacting on what Dina said, but then Dina steps out of the picture because she wants to look like the good guy.
Dina's a two-face. She wants to try to look good and stay on Lindsay's good side instead of being a good parent. I don't give two hoots about my relationship with Lindsay as a friend. One day she's going to turn around to me and tell me, 'Daddy, you were right.'
If they're going to say I'm lying, I'm out of control, I'm going to show that they're lying and they're out of control.

it's out of control how much of a dillhole this dude is.
There is not one sentence in this entire mess of garbage that makes him look like a good person.
Michael Lohan could not not release a statement if his life depended on it.
Why do some Dads seem to do that "repeat the theme" thing when they are on a rant?
He repeated the "…out of control/in control…"
thing about 7 times.
If I was young, I think that I'd much rather my dad do his ranting through the media, than right to my face.
When some Dads rant at you in person, they tend to get loud and then ground you when you roll your eyes as they keep repeating their theme.
Is "talk to the media" the new "talk to the hand"?
Am I the only one who had a ranting/boring lecturing father?
nope, count me in. i've just been unable to pull MG up on my computer lately. is it just me? screen to blank?
qc i haven't been able to comment or i'd have thrown in my two cents. my father used to be a preacher and let me tell you, it's a skill that doesn't fade. and she IS lucky that she's not sitting in his living room, under his roof, hearing about his rules… and possibly getting one of my favorites: "If you'd LISTEN you might learn something!"
hes her dad he can say what he wants he is right hes great with spunk
What a douchebag!!!! Is he just pissed off that he can't make money off his daughter anymore? I never thought I'd say this but Dina is by far the superior parent.
Tomorrow it will rain toads. Michael Lohan made a statement. This can not happen. The Lohans just don't do this. It so not them. It will pour toads!
lava-there had been trouble with the att cell phones too.
sar-I also got that statement from Dad-"listen and you might learn something."
(Yeah, I learn how to zone-out but still nod my head and give eye contact like I care.)
I also heard: "I'm not just talking to hear myself TALK!"
(Oh right, DADDY, I beg to differ. :-) )
