For me, his appeal is his lovely skin, beautiful dreads, dreamy eyes, perfect smile and general sense of happy carefree goofiness.

Since it may be hard to toke up on the idol bus, and he didn't really seem all that stoned to me, I'm gonna go with a no on this one. Although he did have some killer pupil dilation going on, especially since the camera light was right in his eyes. So I'd say if anything, he's probably popping pills (like all kids these days seem to be doing) like Somas or Xanax something. But, he could just be tired…with those pupils its really iffy though.

He may need reminders to take the big bins out on garbage day, and you may have to call him from your cell phone while you are in your car, to come out of the house and bring in the big bins that are blocking the driveway, so you can get the car in the driveway.

Jason's inner peace comes from his devout faith. I'm not a practicing religious person but the way he always carries himself is really admirable. His faith obviously works for him.

I don't know whether the media actually managed to brainwash some of you or whether you're doing this for your own amusement. He has gone on record saying he has "NEVER been high" in his life. Why would some pothead do that? They wouldn't care. All the Idols have said this image is a completely false representation of Jason. Cook even spoke out on Larry King. & don't you think someone from his past would have ratted him out to TMZ by now?

If you met the guy, you'd know how polite, funny, verbose and lovely he is. He's such a freaking nice, laid back guy. Their tour schedule is BEYOND EXHAUSTING and his gf and family kept him up catching up with him - it's pretty evident he's TIRED in the video. Nothing more. Use your brain cells. He's a lovable goober.

I have a sense of humour but spreading an ugly rumour (that will never be substantiated) is petty. Especially, when it concerns someone who isn't just another fame-hungry asshole. That's pretty darn rare in today's society.

Someone mentioned missing seeing Jason every week.
Have you watched his other Vlogs? He video-blogs these 'Date Nights' every Tuesday to keep us updated. The others are so animated and funny. They guy is really savvy. My favourite is the one with Carly- he looks so beautiful, speaks eloquently, Carly is adorable, he's funny, it's colourful. And I love the one with the rose being pinned on him and the first ever one with his little sister Jackie. He is like a father figure to Jackie. From the various videos I've watched and from the stories I've read, she totally looks up to him and she means the world to him. It's so cute!! He is such a natural with kids. But then, he WAS a kid's soccer coach.

Jason's mom and family friend Sooner hang out there all the time. They are WONDERFUL and absolutely hysterical. They have such an awesome sense of humour. Alternatively, check out Castrocopia.com. Quite possibly the funniest, wittiest site ever. They have a forum too.

& have y'all checked out his myspace? I believe his plays, views and friends surpass many, if not all the other Idols'. He is so real. His bulletins are hilarious and often profound. His blogs are amazing. His About Me is uplifting, endearing and raw: like Jasonnnn. His photos are very funny and/or beautiful. He stands out amongst the other Idols (imo) and is constantly communicating with us and updating.

I just adore Jason. He's so refreshing. That goes for his laid back music style and instantly recognisable voice to his cute, goofy persona. He's the most calm, mature 22 year old male I've ever come across. The way he handles BS dished out to him, the way he reacts in the face of adversity is amazing. He has really thick skin. He's mellow yet he's so full of life and spontaneous. He knows you should enjoy every day; life is short, boo. He's been on so many Mission Trips and was always active in his church. His fans love him - if you couldn't tell already haha. His highschool buddies have said what you see is what you get: "everyone loved Jason", his neighbours, teachers, church peeps, friends, fellow pupils etc. If only there were more people like Jason Castro in the world lol.
