Fresh off her Oscar win for best supporting actress, Jennifer Hudson has revealed to Access Hollywood that she is currently pursuing a biopic:

At the NAACP Awards last weekend, Hudson told Access Hollywood she wants a role in the dramatic tale of a famous baseball hero, reinvisioned on the big screen.

"As far as film, I want to do the Jackie Robinson story," she told Access' Shaun Robinson.'

"It tells of greatness and our history," she said. "That means something to me."

Inside sources tell MollyGood that, while casting directors respect Hudson's talent, most agree that her tits are much too big to play Jackie Robinson.

Wow…she must have went to the Steven Stegal [sic?] acting school…recall he wanted to play Jimi Hendrix in a biopic???

Oh wait, maybe she meant JACKEE [or however she spelt it] that annoying supposed sitcom star who left a show to make a success on her own, she didn't get far….

I don't think she wants to play Jackie Robinson, people. She wants to play a role in a movie about Jackie Robinson. I do agree that it's a little forward and demanding of her to already start asking for movie roles. Particularly since the only roles she'd be good in are ones in which she sings pretty much the whole time.

Did anyone really think Cord (or anyone else) seriously thought she wanted to actually play Robinson himself? That's even funnier than the tits comment.

I still want to know who told her the gold dress fit.

Do you think if she doesn't get a part in the Jackie Robinson story that she'll throw a fit as big as the one when she got botted off American Idol?

I'm pretty sure that with those boobs, she'll do just fine playing the role of Josh Gibson in the Jackie Robinson biopic. I think I'll wait until that one wraps before I send her agent my Stephen Hawking treatment.

Another meaty role for a meaty star. Meaty singer Beyonce must be going crazy by now with Jennifer Hudson's soaring acting career.

I think she should play Phyllis Hyman, the R and B singer and Actress who killed herself in the 90s. Then we can hear jennifer sing again, and Phyllis had some beautiful songs and a powerful voice (her last role was as billy holiday in spike lee's malcome x). Jenn can call me, i have a script ha.

Kitten, Jhud cant play Phyllis Hyman, Hyman was 5'11 almost 5 11 almost 6 ft tall and light skinned. Cant happen she looks nothing like her. I'm sure show could sing the piss out of her songs though.
She could play the role of Robinson's wife , played by Ruby Dee in the original 1950's film.

You bastards are haters! Jennifer is a great actress–hence the Oscar, dumbasses! She could totally play the Ruby Dee role; personally, I hope she gets it.

of course she can play Phyllis Hyman. she is an actress — she can play a role inspired by Hyman. she does not have to be a carbon-copy of the character. i think that that is a terrific idea. Phyllis was brazilliantly talented. "You are my starship…come take me home tonite…and don't be late…and don't you come…too soon…" aye mama mia. i'd forgotten all about her. thanks for reminding me Kitten.

Please don't label her. Her acting in 'Dreamgirls' was phenomenal and her character was believable. So, the girl is good. But I see is ahead of herself.
