John Mayer is one of those celebrities who is more popular than he should be thanks to his media skills and relationship with the paparazzi. He demonstrated this theory over the weekend in NYC when he held an impromptu mini press conference on his breakup with Jennifer Aniston. He came across as genuine, likable and passionate, even throwing out a Chris Crocker-esque plea to leave Jen alone. The most entertaining part of the clip is the paparazzo who insists on sucking up to John and adamantly agreeing with every word the singer says. Heh.

I really like John Mayer. I don't know how he is when you know him personally, but he seems to have a great sense of humor and he is amazingly talented. I, for one, am glad he dumped J.A. because i can see her turning into a cougar and she just seems really bland.
