Tens Who Are Tens

lebrock2

Kelly LeBrock, who quickened the pulse of every young man born in the 80s with her half-shirted turn in Weird Science, has vowed to stop dieting. Though LeBrock lost 31 pounds last year on VH1's Celebrity Fit Club, the growing ex-model says she's fine with her recent weight gain, and worrying about her frame is no longer her bag:

“I’m not fat!” Kelly declared. “I don’t look like a 400-pound heifer! I’m going to keep eating. I eat normally. And I’ve had three kids.

Three kids?!?! No wonder she's huge. We can't even get through a whole toddler without feeling ill.

I'm sorry, but does she think that larger lips will make her hips look smaller? If she's able to go to the doctor to enhance those things, why not get a little lipo on the side?

I don't think her body is the problem. It's her swollen face and over inflated lips. She is looking subhuman with all that Botox and Rystalline. And covering up those shoulders would help too.
    That is all.

She's right. Being a 300 pound hefer is much healthier. Size 10-12, really? Come on now Kelly. And three kids isn't really a good reason, I have 4 but still manage to workout. That's why God invented hide and seek. You guys hide and mommy will be back in an hour, after my workout. And by workout I mean happy hour at Joe's Crab Shack.

I will concede 3 points: 1) She is built like a linebacker. 2) It is best to try to be healthy, yada, yada, yada. 3) From personal experience, Lithium does pack on the lbs and it won't go away. However, having said this, can we also agree that you should get a free pass on snark for having been married to Steven Seagal? That must have been damaging.

I'll agree that she cannot get those boobies in a 10 or 12. She played the classic redirect move, she said she was happy in a size 10 or 12 when asked about her weight. (Yeah, me too.)

However, I think she is just fine. She is what I call thick.

Just like we tell chelsea, it's ok to have some meat on the bones. How much is too much? Well, that is up to interpretation.

I loved her comment on the link. She said she would never eat lettuce again. I wonder if she saw that picture of Pam Anderson in the lettuce bikini. That picture has STILL put me off of lettuce.

I hate when women use that bullshit excuse "I've had 3 kids", as if having kids allows you a green light to get fat. Of course, I know that your body isn't going to be the same way it was before kids and things might look differntly, but it's really no reason to let yourself go. I know it takes time and hard work to get it off, but don't eat two plates of lasagna and say that you can't lose weight because you had a kid. My mom tried that excuse unitl I told her that I am her only child and I'm 28.

Yes, I agree. Don't blame it on anything else than what it is. "I don't give a shit, and I love food. It tastes good. I may eat more than I should."

By the way, I have started this whole weight watchers mess, and boy, serving sizes aren't what I thought they were. :-(

QC - my mom's doing WW and she's lost 20 pounds so far. My dad called me last week to tell me that he is doing a different diet and lost 15 pounds IN ONE WEEK!!!! Of course I immediately asked him who his dealer was, but he said he is just drinking two protien shakes a day (the product is called ISOPURE), two servings of fruit a day, and a Lean Cuisine. He's stopped drinking soda and is trying to drink about three litres of water a day. Don't think for a second my ass didn't run out and purchase the same thing. I'm doing this thing too, so we will see how that works. I don't have nearly as much to lose (about 10-15 pounds) as my dad, but hopefully it will help.

If I had to live off shakes, someone would die and it wouldn't be me. It would be whoever came near me with a sandwhich. I starved myself in the 80's-90's and can't do that again. Food is too enjoyable. Just have a slice of cake instead of the whole cake. Don't get rid of the cake or one day you'll wake up in a bakery with pastries in your mouth. Mmmmm, cake.

In the 5 months that my husband has been gone, I've put on almost 15 pounds. I am now the heaviest I have ever been (even when pregnant) and I absolutely hate it. I have made the vow to join Weight Watchers and buy a treadmill or something, so I can still watch TV but just be active while doing so. I miss what I used to look like, and I want to be healthy for my girls.

BTW, when I say my husband is gone, I mean because he is living in another province while working and I'm still waiting for the fucking house to sell, not because we're divorced or he's dead.

    Esquared,
We were in that same situation a few years ago. He was gone, while I had to keep the house (always ready to show) and the kid (who was going through a transitional breakdown) in order, until the school year was over. Put aside time for yourself to work out each day. Even if it means hiring someone to watch the kids for a few hours, or joining a gym that has daycare. Your husband will be just as "relieved" as you are.

She is extremely large busted which makes her look bigger than she is. I'm the same size as she claims to be and I looked really, really heavy in photos before my reduction. Not so much now. I can only give her this advice - If you won't quit putting too much food in your body, at least quit putting too much crap in your face.

bedbugsandballyhoo and jujubees: I think it's stress, too. Right now I simply don't have any energy left over to work out. Plus the logistics of working out- no money for babysitter and too cold to go out. I know- excuses, excuses. But we're trying to decide what to do: have him just return home and say screw it, or keep going for a few more months. Either way, once we're back together again I'm doing the WW thing for sure. I used to do yoga and pilates after my 2nd one was born and I really miss it.

I'm sorry, but you don't have to go to the gym, or go outside to get fit. Get a DVD of an exercise routine, buy a set of weights (really cheap) and go for it. Squats with weights will get your heart going. I got in shape without a gym, WW, or leaving my apartment. It snows like crazy where I live, so I opted to do what I can at home.
It's such a shame to see someone look like this when you know how much healthier and prettier she will look with unhealthy weight off.

She is pretty large if you ask me. I've had three kids (1994, 1997, 2005) and after having the last one, my weight leveled out at 165 pounds! Geez! I was in a size 14 jeans. I buckled down and started eating right, eating smaller portions, and doing some light exercise. I'm now down to 125 pounds and have maintained that for over a year now. It CAN be done. She just needs to stop making excuses. Eating is not a sport.

Quit hating on Kelly. She is still gorgeous.

She looks great and as you get older things do happen like weight gain. So what if you go to the gym, why do you do it? Is it for you or your vanity?!

Get over it…and if she wants to keep her face looking gorgeous with a little restalyne or botox, that's her business. I like her. Good for her for not falling into that hollywood anorexia/bulimia trap. She is healthy and that's all that matters. She is happy in her own skin and you should let her be.

    Effin' haters!

This woman is not fat at all. It is really refreshing to see a woman who is normal sized in Hollywood and comfortable with herself!!!!!!! Everyone needs to stop critiquing women, it is so tiresome and pointless- it is her body and her business. That being said, she is not looking good in the face at all, it looks like bad plastic surgery or something.

she's big, but not grotesque or anything. her bones are ENORMOUS also, which is not helping her out. i'm not sure why people were talking about lithium, but if you're gaining weight on lithium, it's one of two side effects. you're either retaining water, which has its own treatments, or you're developing hypothyroidism, a symptom of which is weight gain. i gained weight when i went on lithium, and got really tired and weepy, so they checked my thyroid, put me on synthetic thyroid, and i was able to drop the weight pretty quickly.

No. 29 & 31. The thing is, restalyne really makes the lips look odd… like hemroid lips. Kelly could have aged well, so she gives everyone the finger about the weight, but her screwing around with the features is another matter. Kellys lips in the 80s did not look like wax lips. They do now.
