Because money is more important to people than not looking calloused, the apartment in which Heath Ledger died is already on the market. (One can’t mourn forever, you know, and have you seen the cost of private kindergarten these days?)

The loft is renting for $25,000/month, $3,000/month more than Ledger was paying. Says one broker, “You don’t wait around in a hot rental market like this.”

No. 1 Lily the Pink says:

You’re talking about a place where people read the obituaries to find apartments.

Maybe I am an ass, but why wouldn’t the owner? I mean, s/he wasn’t realted/friends with Ledger - it’s sad and all, but unless someone is going to pay me to mourn Heath, I would have rented it out. Maybe not at 3K more - given he was only there a few months I doubt it was worth that much more. Unless Ledger was given a break for cache value if the apartment owner has others in the building… Ok, I need to stop. I was mostly offended by the 25K rental price anyhow.
