Phyllis Lyon and Del Martin, who have been together 55 years, inaugurated the festivities in San Francisco, while Robin Tyler and Diane Olson did it up in Los Angeles county. The latter were the original plaintiffs in the case that led to California Supreme Court’s decision to overturn the ban on gay marriage.

Something rings sour about your cheering for equality and your playing up of traditional gender roles ("ladies went first").

Whatever, we can't have it all in one day. Go California.

All day yesterday on the radio this is what they talked about. That's not a problem, I'm just sayin'. But good for them, and that couple who was together for like 55 years. Jeez.

What Your Mama said. For those who didn't do the math, that got together in 1953. Not an easy time to be gay and living in America. I'm happy for them and wish them well.

It's the moment we've all been waiting for…all one-percent of us who mistakenly think homosexuality's not a sin, that is. And come November, the other 37 million Californians will have their say!

Whoa! If those women featured in photograph are part of what the liberal media call "the colorful tapestry of modern America," and if indeed these same women are merely looking for sweet and gentle-natured love without criticism from outsiders, why is one of them triumphantly brandishing her fist? Less 'love' and more 'agenda,' perhaps?

Small wonder the taliban hates us so. Hard to defend America as a godly nation so long as homosexuals are militantly on the march, and good men standly idly by–until November.
