Leno with Ignorant Hatemonger

rwill

David Letterman's production company, Worldwide Pants, reached an agreement last week with the Writer's Guild of America, the terms of the which allow his late night program to resume production, complete with Guild writers. The settlement has prompted other hosts, like Jay Leno, to also return, but without writers.

Last night, the Late Show with David Letterman welcomed it's first guest in weeks, actor and comedian Robin Williams. Leno booked Mike Huckabee, a bigot who once advocated quarantining people with HIV. We hope you chose wisely.

Nice, he's returning with a big, zzzzzz. I know that normally the z's are really unimaginative but those are boring guests. Robin Williams is on the fast track to Chevy Chaseville. Getting unfunnier as he gets older.

I still say that Williams is a horrible comedian. Great actor but not funny at all.

As much as Huckabee is a complete and utter fuck, Williams is a complete and utter hack (we get it, you're frenetic). All told I would rather have Jujubees kill my face. With a skillet. But then again I avoid both Letterman and Leno, because they make me feel sad for America. And wish viewing would cause sterilization.

I'll kill you in the face if you return the favor. Passing out seems better than having to watch this show. I ended up watching a Seinfeld rerun.

We should make a Kill You in the Face Pact:

I Juju/Lisa do solemnly swear and promise to kill Juju/Lisa in her face, with or without a skillet, in lieu of the torture and ignominy of watching either Leno/Huckabee or Letterman/Williams. For ever and ever, Amen.

I think now we spit in our palms and shake on it while sipping Tom-ba from the same chalice.

Yes, I watched the funnier host, Leno. He was so much funnier off the cuff than Dave could EVER be even WITH writers.

Robin Williams sure has aged since the days when he was America's favorite child star.

Mykie: debating who is funnier is like debating whether crap tastes better warm or cold. Either way it is all shit. Methinks Cord was discussing the quality of guests. But there again, I would make the same point.

cord, please explain how (since HIV is lately becoming more and more a straight, female disease) quarantining is necessarily bigoted option. i agree that it's not a good idea, for practical and moral reasons - although there are some (many?) asshats who make it a tempting option by willfully infecting others - but don't get how that's bigoted per se. are the two connected, or are you doing the thing you do where you link stuff that's close, but not the same? this is a sincere question.
