Aside from the fact that the guessing game they are playing with the media is a crucial element of this particular flavor of publicity stunt, Lindsay isn't really treating this relationship any differently than she would treat a relationship with a guy.

You're so eager to appear blase about her sexuality that you unintentionally reveal that you actually do wish to impose different standards this coupling than that of hetero couples like Beyonce and Jay Z or John Mayer and Jennifer Aniston.

I don't know if I would say they are hiding their relationship. Maybe, not making a formal announcement at this moment is good for the Linds, considering how much her life has already been under the spotlight. I bet she'll talk about, eventually, to a magazine or two, but for now I think they like the mystery. Also, I wouldn't be surprised if LL dates males again in the future, so ya know, there's that too. Unfortunately, people make a big deal about stuff like that (Ann Heche).

I must say though, in the recent pictures I have seen of Lohan, she looks beautiful –refreshed and renewed, not all droopy eyed and lifeless like before. She seems to be healthy and happy, so good for her.

There is a perfectly good reason she hasn't 'come out', there is still a stigma attached to being a gay actor. If she comes out and says it, there will be people in Hollywood who won't hire her for romantic parts because they assume America won't accept a gay actor playing a heterosexual part. Not that she is getting a lot of parts anyway right now but that is beside the point.

Plus, she may not be a lesbian. There are plenty of people who go both ways.

I think she's still not addressing the issue for several reasons. First, it's not like her acting is going to get her in the papers any time soon. Secondly, her mom seems to be in a good bit of denial, so if she's worried about hurting her mom, she may not want to go marching in a parade any time soon. Third, does she really need to announce to the whole world? If she really wants to have a healthy relationship with someone, she won't make it an issue with the media.
