About Brooke… lots and lots of us go through periods where we think our fathers were abusive. And when you break it down, most of us are probably right. But sometimes a kid makes a decision, for whatever reason, to overlook it or leave it in the past. Not saying it's OK that she changed her story, but many forms of abuse are still not widely recognized as abuse, or even as unacceptable or wrong behaviors. I can imagine a lot more pain coming into her life for releasing accusations of abuse to a public who already calls her unspeakable things for no real reason.
