They want Depp for the Riddler, not the Joker. I'm all over Philip Seymour Hoffman as the Penguin. There is also talk of Angelina Jolie as Catwoman. All of this is way too early to take as real and not wishful thinking.

I'd buy tickets in advance if Crispin Glover were the Riddler… PSH for the Penguin seems like a great choice but I think it would piss me off for someone to try to redo was Burgess Meredith did with him. Sorry, I know that's corny but I effing loved him as pengy. I'd sooner see The Joker replaced.

I shall kill myself in the face if Depp is in the movie. I LOVE him as much as the next girl, but I don't want all these huge names taking away from the actual movie. I heard the rumour about Angelina Jolie as Catwoman- no matter my love for Bale I think I would skip the movie in that case. And the ensuing madhouse surrounding the movie and all the publicity.
