Just in case - they recommend at least two years or as long as is mutually desireable for both mother and child. Breastfeeding beyond two years is both normal and healthy. As is not breastfeeding at all.

Thanx Kitchy. Didn't know that one. All I knew is that all of my girlfriends and MIL all stopped on or before 1yr. Not a breast feeder so I really didn't know.
