Rocker Marilyn Manson is romantically involved with 19-year-old actress Evan Rachel Wood, sources close to the situation tell PEOPLE.
The sources say his relationship with the Thirteen actress was a factor in the Dec. 29 divorce filing by Dita Von Teese, 34, Manson's wife of one year.
"Dita is heartbroken, she didn't see this coming," says a source close to the burlesque dancer and MAC cosmetics model. "His partying contributed to the split as well."
Manson, 38, and Wood have been friends for some time. According to his official Web site, Manson first met Wood when he asked her to be in his upcoming horror film, Phantasmagoria: The Visions of Lewis Carroll.
In addition, she posed for a watercolor that he painted, and attended the opening of his new Hollywood art gallery, the Celebritarian Corporation Gallery of Fine Art, last Halloween.
"It came as kind of a shock," Wood told Rolling Stone about being asked to pose. "I was beyond flattered."
Seriously though, other than the entire his cheating on his wife and maybe being a complete maniac thing, is it just me or does something about these two make sense? She's a little darker than most girls her age and he's well, not-so-cheery? No? Nothing? Okay.

God, I cannot stand that man. And not because I don't like his music - I went to a Manson concert maybe six years ago and it rocked. He's just so goddamned fake. He's a Satanist, who, for those who don't know, don't believe in Satan. They just believe in being completely self-centered. They talk about not being sheep, and yet they ALL wear black (contrary to the Satanic bible), and they participate in rituals (even though the Satanic bible says that spirituality is for suckers). I don't know either of the two, neither do I care if they are dating or not. Marilyn Manson, however, on his own, is the model of the gothic subculture, regardless how many individuals disagree. His music, greatly determined by his experiences with nihilism-excluding the Golden Age of Grotesque- serve as incredible works. I wouldn't call everything that he creates "art", but I know that through experience, Manson's music is a bridge between reality and surrealism, emotion and spirituality.

Hey Manson is a decent artist at times in my opinion. He follows the Dadaists in theory.. atleast that's what he states and at times appears to be. As far as Wood goes, it's a classic midlife crisis with his Lolita. That's even played up in his video with her, where by the way, they actually have sex on camera. Manson also states he lives more on stage at times.. guess we can't take his life too seriously. I have a feeling he certainly doesn't.
