Say Hello To Your Mother For Me

Mark Wahlberg, the man behind both "Good Vibrations" and Entourage, isn't exactly known for his warm and friendly demeanor. So it should come as no surprise that Marky Mark had some harsh words for Saturday Night Live after the show featured a clip of him (played by Andy Samberg) talking to random animals. The sketch was bizarre and slightly humorous (still, it's no "Fancy Pants"), but Wahlberg was not amused.

Someone showed it to me on YouTube. It wasn't like Tina Fey doing Sarah Palin, that's for sure. And Saturday Night Live hasn't been funny for a long time. They've asked me to do the show a ton of times. I used to watch it when Eddie Murphy was there and Joe Piscopo and Bill Murray. I don't even know who's on the show now.

Oh, Marky Mark. You should probably be grateful to SNL for this whole thing — it's the most attention you've had in years. Click through for the clip and judge for yourself.

It was a good Marky-Mark, but it was an awful Brian Fellow.

The goat stoled the skit. I agree with Mark, SNL hasn't been funny in years. The only reason anyone is paying attention to it now is because if Tina Fay.

It must be cheap as hell to make, thats the only reason I can see as to why it's still on.

Andy Samberg or whatever his name is, is a pretensious dork. He tries to come off (painfully) as some abstract art student with his stupid film "shorts"; they are UNfunny and annoying to watch. Mark W. may be an asshole, but he is 100% spot-on about Saturday Night Live. Now, Dave Chapelle; THAT is funny. His show blew SNL out of the water.

Maybe Chocolate News on Comedy Central will be a fitting replacement for Mr. Chappelle…I enjoy David Allen Grier anyway. SNL bores me most of the time. I watch MadTV occasionally. I love Bobby Lee! Boring Rant-sorry

This is a sign of a corrupt generation. Seriously, the same ones who make me turn down my Dan Fogelberg (you heard me) so they can play Lil Wayne - are the ones who stopped watching SNL in favor of MadTV.

SNL may not be brilliant (so the Fogelberg comparisin is flawed) but MadTV just gives me the creeps. The whole show looks… clammy. And it's more confusing to me than funny.

And I agree with Sarah - Chocolate News is going to suck. It's going to be popular, because hell even Carlos Mencia is popular - but it will suck hard.

I knew you were cool sar, but know I know even more so. I love me some Fogelberg. It is almost time for the classic to be played over and over and over and over and over and over, etc.
Still love him (and the song too)

didn't know that…I'm not "with it" by any means.
I loved DAG on "in Living Color" so I hope it doesn't suck.

Farah, I think Lil Wayne might just be the regular kind of midget. With or without mental midgetry.

I always those Wahlberg was an uptight person who couldn't act or sing. I thought the skit was funny, this guy sounds just like Wahlberg.

I agree I thought the skit was hilarious, dead on impression. Definitely showed the jack nicholson syndrom-ness of marky marks acting seeing as though he spouted off against SNL like his character would have done in ALL of his movies.

Well you have to watch The Big Hit to know why they were acting like that. Cos walbergh was this mob murderer who was very polite it was funny.
