Mary Kate Olsen – the messier one – was hospitalized over the weekend after contracting a kidney infection. Her ailment is minor and the 21-year-old actress should be released in a day or two. Nevertheless, pray for her tonight; hospital food is so, so bad, and you know she needs every morsel she can get.

I wouldn’t really call a kidney infection minor. I’ve had a couple and it was pretty much right up there with giving birth. The pain scale is off the charts and you kind of need well functioning kidneys to live.

Have I just stayed in really upscale hospitals or something? I’ve always had a full menu to choose from and above average food.

Not too long ago when I was getting my pouch done, I had a pretty fantabulous pancake breakfast. It was no Rooty Tooty but it was pretty yum.
