Michelle Obama, whom Jon Stewart jokingly referred to as a "known associate of Barack Obama," made the talk show rounds yesterday, hitting up Larry King Live and The Daily Show. On the latter, she said that she prefers not to watch the debates because she gets "nervous." She also described Cindy McCain as cordial and said that reporters and commentators makes much ado about nothing when they analyze handshakes and snubs. She has to say that, though.

I bet a lot of people get nervous. I just didn't know anyone could just choose not to watch the debates because of it. How else will she know where the candidates stand?

Agreed, killorn. She is a class act all the way. I just hope that she differs from Jackie-O in two ways: 1) her husband remains faithful, and 2) he isn't assasinated.
By the way, as a resident of Virginia, which has remained a red state for the last 44 years in terms of presidential elections, I am proud to report that Obama is ahead in all the polls! Go BLUE!
