I think it's more of a commentary of fashion today - which for the most part is terrifyingly bad - than Miley herself. I mean, I used to think Debbie Gibson and Blossom were the sheikest things ever. Comparitively, I don't see how any of this is worse than paper-bag waisted jeans.

dude, you're getting old once you start to criticize a 15 year old'd clothes; she loves the retro 80's look. it fresh and fun. do not be sooo uptight. just like in the early 90's when the 70's were the rage and all the dumb ex-hippies/disco heads were like, "UH that's ugly!" and then the grunge too left them feeling old and dated and just embarrassed with their tassled penny-loafers and tucked in t-shirts in their chic jeans with a cinched belt. let the girl have some def leppard fun.

When I was 15 i shopped at the goodwill and had purple hair and pierced my own nose in the cafeteria. But i also wasn't a teen icon with my own stylist. Miley thinks she is WAY cuter than anyone else does…
