Major spoiler under here.

Put this in your pipe and fawn over it over Cosmopolitans: Carrie marries Big! (Extreme bouts of cold feet to precede, of course.) As for why Sarah Jessica Parker has donned a dark wig on the set, we have no idea. Though if we had to (which we do), we would guess Sex and the City: The Movie is using one of the simplest plot twists known to soap opera writers: The Secret Twin. Because that's how low our expectations are!

This proves my utter lack of self control. I was always opening the corners of my Christmas presents and I've never lost that horrible habit. :(

I imagine since none of you can read my mind (or can you?) that my post made no sense. Hell, I can read my mind and it still made no sense to me. I basically meant that I always peeked at my presents early thus ruining the suprise. I love suprises so I don't know why I do it to myself. I am drawn to spoilers like white on rice.

I don't think it is a secret twin - those need goatees. I bet she dyed her hair before her wedding - emergency! - and was worried that Big wouldn't want to marry her. Just as she goes to show him he is talking closely to a very tall, blond woman. He sees her from across the room and looks horrified. She thinks it is because of her hair. Oh NO! She flys away, days before her wedding, calling it off. Big finds her (through Miranda - who he wins over by explaining that the woman was his personal gift buyer and that he was getting Carrie some crazy limited edition Manolos. Plus she was a lesbian!) and wins her over with a great pair of shoes - his wedding present! Then mushyness ensues, and it ends with a banal voice over.

    Just a guess…

maybe because Big's previous wife was a brunette she feels that he prefers that look. or he tells her "your blonde hair goes, or I go".

Lisa I like how you think. And April- I liked it too, and since we're being honest, I love Miss Congeniality and How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days.

I think the whole SATC concept is a huge affront and this is actually just Sliding Doors 2.

April, I too very much enjoyed Failure to Launch, but not for SJP or Mr. Mc.No Shirt Surfer Guy. I really loved Zoey Deschanelewawelwe or whatever her name is. Her character so awesome, I adopted Champagne Thursdays from her. That or I'm an alcoholic that likes to have a reason to drink champagne during the week.

Love Zoey D too- she always has great characters. Champagne Thursday is a fabulous idea. My old roommates and I used to have Boozeday Tuesday. It was never "planned" though– we just always seemed to get drunk on wine every Tuesday night at the house. I guess two days of work were more than we could handle.

how to lose a guy was cute but failure to launch was just there…not good, not bad, just some high concept b.s. that couldn't follow through. i did love that whole bit about his best friends though…especially bradley cooper (yowzer!) and his other friend who was supposed to be the ugly, rich one. ugly only in hollywood…the boy looked like a male model. that was kinda funny but the rest of the movie was kinda blah…

oh…i love zooey too. she's like a lot of angry bitter, everyone-thinks-they're-lesbians-even-though-they're-not chick friends i had in college and high school.

she's been in some major hits like "launch" and "elf"…and she's cute as hell. don't know why she's not a major star.

I think that she dyed her hair after she divorces from Big or "john" a few years later, you know to show that she's changed and that she's dark and lonely or whatever.
