It's time for another marathon viewing session of Alias. I was given seasons 1-3 for Christmas three years ago, and I was as giddy as a schoolgirl. We watched all day every day (thanks to being off for winter break). Season 4 started soon after, and that was also when Lost was in its first season. Heady days.

For the record, though, I loved Alias because of Jack, not Sydney. Jennifer Garner is cute and all, but she was really just eye candy. Her character was always either crying (yuck) or kick-boxing. Truly, that's not much of an exaggeration.

Why didn't unileg stand on her good foot for balance? Maybe she planned it for a sympathy nod.

I agree, I think she did it on purpose! So pathetic!

I think it's pathetic that you're making fun of someone with a disability.

Alycia, do you think people like Heather want special treatment? Because from what I hear, they do not. That's why I never open the door for people in wheelchairs, and I don't help blind people across the street.
I say, you're disabled? Deal with it. I have a pimple on my chin, but you don't see me hiding out and avoiding others just because there's a bleimish on my otherwise clear-skinned face. I just put on a smile and work it. Heather needs to buck up and either learn to walk on that fake gam, or take it off and do the bunny hop next week.

Your original comment, Lale (and Teejay), had nothing to do with special treatment; you were making fun. Don't change the subject to veil your discrimination.

Of course I was making fun, but not because she has an artificial limb. It's because I don't like her and that's the easiest target. What am I going to say, that she has a lame sense of humor? Oh wait, that's not Heather.
