Cate Blanchett looks Godawful in both pictures. Funny, I sort of held her to a higher standard. I thought she was one of the more intelligent actresses in Hollywood at this time. I never expected her to surcome to the stupid crap that goes on there with the weight. Guess I was wrong.
As others have pointed out elsewhere, Cate Blanchett hasn't succumbed to an eating disorder. The photo being talked about was shot from a bad angle in a white tent; she's also playing a cancer victim in a movie, "Cancer Vixen".

That pickle comment was funny, not racist. The article is weird though, in the end the white sharecropper decides he'd better patent that shit before the black folk do. And one girl in an elementary school says…“I like it the same as dipping hot Cheetos in ice cream.” Ha. That's funny too.
