Gag Me With a Spoon

And another one.

Thought the Monster Squad remake was sacrilege? Get a load of this: MGM, the studio that brought you Barbershop 2, is reimagining 80s cult classic Valley Girl as a musical, melding the story's original punk-meets-square narrative with classic New Wave hits.

Pour out a little Bartles & Jaymes; the 80s are dead.

This just proves how no one is able to come up with an original idea for a good movie. They have to ruin things that just need to be left alone.

Like, gag me with a spoon. They should totally cast Nicolas Cage as the guy again, and like totally fill the rest of the cast with like bitch'n ass hot young chicks.

Can you see Nicolas Cage and Blake Lively getting it on. That'd be so rad. Teh sexy fur sure, dude.

Oh, Keebler. I need to vomit in my mouth. What's with his hair? You're not Elvis so put away the Miss Clairol and cut the hair. Everytime I see him now I think, Welcome back Mister, Kotter.

So way back in '99 I went to Blockbuster (before Netflix yo!) with my (at the time new) boy - to rent Valley Girl ON VHS! Would you believe it was checked the eff out? Instead we got Vampire's Kiss, which was near where VG should have been - and also starring Nick Cage. See it.

BAHAHA! Vampire's Kiss! I haven't seen it, but probably around 1999 also, I was in the video store with my sister and we stood there laughing at the VHS box for Vampire's Kiss for about 7-and-a-half-minutes. As I recall, something about Nicolas Cage's face and the horrible MS-Paint-style fangs they'd painted on him. I've heard it's pretty good tho, yeah.
