yey! I love her style-she's really popular in the UK..but she's been a blind item with Ted C from Eonline for aaagess! Since her stint with Gyllenwhatshisname..she's had a serious problem-from what we read for a while and also she went out with this dude from this band in the UK-whose the biggest smack/heroine head and she used to hang out alot were lots of friends went in camden….anyhoo-my theory is that I think it's all damage control since Heath Ledger died..like all the studios are covering their backs by sending the most 'crazy' heads into rehab…

Who knows, I mean, these guys have been going into rehab soo many times and we don't know-just think it's a bit of a coincidence that it's all together…

I loved her in Crazy Beautiful and I applaud her for not being like the rest of the plastic people and leaving her snaggled teeth (????) in place instead of getting veneers.

As someone who begged her parents to get her braces and finally got them at 19 for a snaggle tooth and lower crowding, I villify her for the teeths. They don't have to be perfect chiclet teeth or anything, but, you know, invisalign a little. Her job is being good looking - let's face it, she hasn't really been good since maybe Virgin Suicides, safely Interview with a Vampire - so she needs to step it up. Who wants to look at 3 feet tall snaggles on screen? Not me, my friend.

I don't hate her. I hate her teeth, and it's not that they are snaggled it's that they create the illusion that she has no front teeth when she smiles like she is in the above photo.

As for her sense of decorum, I agree with Lisa. That should just be how things are done, not laudable behavior. I occasionally poke myself in the eye with a straw when I forget there's one in my drink, which can seriously suck, btw, but when I avoid doing so through use of common sense I don't expect my husband to applaud me. No one should be standing on the sidelines praising me for having the common sense to get out of a car correctly, either.

Lily: my straw goes up my nose. The boyfriend purposefully doesn't tell me if he sees it happening. Bastard.

I personally expect nothing less than a parade when I manage to make it to my car without tripping on my own two feet. It's just not as easy as it looks.

And, I loved Marie Antoinette, and I thought her performance in that was very good. Except when she says "ridiculous". But really I blame that on Sophia Coppola.

blueearing: The only celebrity I've ever claimed to love is Morgan Freeman, who to my knowledge has never publicly behaved foul or stupid, and doesn't go around exposing the "meat and two veg" to everyone.

Lily The Pink: I'm not suggesting she should be given an award or anything for keeping her public behaviour more or less inoffensive: I agree, not acting like an idiot is the baseline, not a miraculous achievement.

I'm just saying, she doesn't do the sort of things that rub me up the wrong way (keeps her pants on in front of cameras, isn't publicly racist, doesn't seem to be in love with herself 24 hours a day) so it's a mystery to me why she seems to be open game. Does she do something really vulgar and appalling that I haven't noticed?
