The casting of insanely hot Michaela McManus as Law & Order: SVU’s new assistant district attorney isn’t the franchise’s only major casting news. The spin-off Criminal Intent also has a roster change up — and it’s a doozy. Having cashed another decent pay day with Sex and the City and not liking the request to take a pay freeze instead of an increase, Chris Noth is ditching the TV show, where he plays Det. Mike Logan and has, since leaving the original Law & Order when it started 18 years ago before returning to CI, split his screen time with Vincent D’Onofrio, who swapped in every other episode. But Criminal Intent, whose ratings had NBC Universal moving the new episodes of the series off NBC proper and on to USA, isn’t moving to a standard format with only one set of regular detectives — Noth has a successor. And you might know him from a little movie called Jurassic Park.

OH YESSSSS! I'm about to reveal something about myself that not many people know. I love The Goldblum. I don't know why because it feels kind of wrong but if loving Goldblum is wrong, I don't want to be right. GOLDBLUUUUUUUM!

If I gave two shits about this show I'd be happy. Goldblum rocks! I don't like him as much as juju over there but I would dry hump his leg a little bit.

I neither like nor dislike D'Onofrio on L&O. I really liked him in Mystic Pizza and Dying Young though.

Ok, I love me some D'onofrio (so great in The Whole Wide World). AND Goldblum. JG was on some show that ran last season playing a detective who saw the dead people whose cases he was working on. Except they were really figments of his fractured psyche - it was kind of cool the way the dead people would change with new info he learned out them. Anyhow, Exceited. I was pissed at first when I got less Vinny, (Noth is ok, I guess) but this will be good.
Juju- I too have an unhealthy fascination with the Goldblum. I think it's his voice. Damn it's sexy. Combine that with his leather coat and smarty pants glasses that he wore in Jurassic Park…let's just say that image helped out a teenage girl a lot of sleepless nights.
Same with D'Onofrio, he does it for me too.
Everyone here is ignoring Vincent D'Onofrio's most Oscar worthy performance: As Edgar the bug in Men in Black. Way to be, guys.
Or the weirdo serial killer in that one JLo movie.
