If It Ain't Broke, Don't Fix It

NKOTBtoday

New Kids on the Block stopped by The Today Show to perform some old hits — key word being “old,” because it’s just not the same as it was back in 1991. That whole thug appeal of Donnie Wahlberg waving his arms around while singing about “The Right Stuff” isn’t the same when it’s 2008 and he’s in a suit on a morning show.

Click through for the video, if you care to ruin your fond NKOTB memories of yesteryear.

I thought it was fantastic.
If crap artists like Britney Spears can have a career then, why can’t NKOTB?
Watching the clip makes me feel like I’m 10 yrs old all over again.

I cant help it…i find them totally hot!! Hotter than they were as teenagers. What i dont find hot is the strange looking heavy-set mom-jeans wearing women that are in that crowd. Geez!!

For the record…i never bought any of the albums. Wait..did they have more than one album?? lol.

OMG! That brought a huge smile to my face! I loved these guys (Jonathan was always my favorite, btw) and I totally agree they are hotter now than they were then. I feel like I’m 14 again, hanging tough.

Why do you have to be such a bitch Whitney? A New Kids fan is a fan no matter what. Its what made them special to us from way back that matters now. How we felt as kids listening to their music. Can’t you at least think of how that was?

I with you guys watching them yesterday morning brought a smile to my face I hadn’t had in years. The songs the perfomance all of it brought back memories of seeing them perform to the sold out concert I attended at Giant Stadium. I think its great they’re back together and I just ignore all the haters!!

You had to be there, the sound mix that came across tv was crap. Honestly, They were fantastic. The most amazing thing though was the crowd.. so freaking loud and energetic.
