But You Knew That

New mother and old news Christina Aguilera was recently disappointed by OK! magazine, reports MSNBC. After several months of negotiations, a deal between the tabloid and the bleached chanteuse got kiboshed when OK! refused to guarantee Aguilera and her new son a full cover.

Aguilera was offended, but OK! was firm, mostly because their numbers don’t lie: “…a magazine insider points out that the singer performs well on stage, but not so much on newsstands. ‘The OK! wedding cover didn???t sell as well as they hoped, and even her recent Marie Claire cover underperformed, all things considered…’” Then the insider got a little catty, saying, “Christina has an inflated sense of her own value and seems to expect an extortionate amount of money for these baby pictures.”

Hand bitten! Gravy train derailed!

Duh! Of course they need to keep part of the cover for Brit/Wino/Brangelina etc. Who knows what shit is going to go down? Maybe if she would flash her fruitmaker once in a while, she could command a whole cover. Something like “See Where Max Came From!!”

Seriously, just, “accidentally”, flash the fruit basket. Just, please cover the c-section scar.

It worked for me. When those bitches would not give me a full page in my yearbook, what did I do? I showed the fruitmaker. Now there are pages and pages devoted to giving out my phone number, and lots of compliments about what a good time people have with me.

I’m sure Christina will thank Cord for giving her bump full billing here, though.

Yea, more celebrity “pimpin’ my newborn” news! Those who say these kids aren’t fashion accessories, should be Madonna-ized.

Yeah it’s most definitely because she ISN’T a mess. I mean she’s a married lady, pregnant, in that order. We never see her kitty cat. No visible drug problems or mooching losers spending her money. Didn’t steal anyone’s husband. *Yawn* Normalcy is boring.

Normalcy is the Devil’s playground…or Marcy’s Playground. I’m not sure which.

christina doesn’t sell magazine because ppl dont really care about her life they never did she is talented singer but she doesn’t generate interest way before britney went crazy shes always been interesting even when she was “normal” its funny she can do the same thing britney does but were only interested when britney does it. thats bc say what you want britney is a talented entertainer and christina has an amazing vice and is very talented and famous but shes just not an icon britney is no matter what she does.

Well, I didn’t post this comment in a timely manner. Christina was on a roll with her first self titled release, and then absolutely with Stripped.

I can’t even pick out a favorite song with that one. I love ALL the songs on Stripped. “Fighter” is kind of a personal theme song.

And “will the real slim shady please shut up.”
Good Lord that was funny.

Back to Basics was great. But we, in my opinion, weren’t ready for her to get that walker out just yet. I mean, I have that 2 cd beauty and enjoy her talent immensely, but maybe release something young as well. Something the young folks dance to.

This young lady has a suberb talent. She is only taking a time out. I don’t think we can count her as a “has been” just yet.
