that looks proper classy. I'm going to buy it now incase they sell out.
OK, I GOTTA know.
does anyone on here know anyone who actually buys her perfumes? I was waiting for a 'scrip in CVS the other day, and I started sniffing all of their cheap perfumes, one of which was hers.
and it smelled BAD. Cheap, and not even the slightest bit pleasant. so, I'm just wondering who buys these things.
Say what? I know someone who buys them. My friend, bless her heart, is a perfume junkie. It baffles me because she will buy Givenchy and Escada and then buy that crap! When she bought it I ridiculed her mercilessly.
I never understood the personality that is a perfume junkie. (not judging, just sayin'…)
I have more than one scent on my dresser, but not more than 3 or 4. And I almost always wear just one. I never understood the idea of changing up my scent all the time.
hey, different strokes, and all that…
Every time I see her release another perfume, all I think is "Huh, so she's found yet another way to market twat juice".
say what?–I'm a bit of a perfume junkie, but I just have an addictive personality in general. And I at least get addicted to the good stuff–no twat juice for me!
I have a ton of different scents because I'm not discriminite enough. I buy one, decide that I'm not a huge fan after all and then try another. I can't really judge the compulsion because if I don't buy a new purse every so often I experience withdrawl symptons and deep depression.
Back in my shopping spree days (read: pre-kids) I used to be a bit of a perfume junkie. I would never have bought her perfume though, my taste is a little more expensive unfortunately.
When I used to buy the stuff, there weren't as many actresses/"famous people" with perfumes. It seems like everyone is putting out a fragrance lately. Were they having a hard time selling the stuff without celebrities endorsing, oh wait sorry, creating their own scent?
HA! oilybohunk, the way you are about perfumes is the way I am about purses…
I see one that I really like, but get it home, try it out and then realize I like the one I've been using much better.
(and em, no twat juice for me, either!)
oily–yup, you hit the nail on the head. I like something, then I bring it home, and then I realize I will never use up that entire bottle of fragrance. It's such a waste sometimes.
say what?–you're lucky you've found something you love so much! I have weird body chemistry–so many things turn "spicy" on me (even sweet scents), and everything that's meant to be spicy turns out ridiculously spicy on me…so I have issues finding something that smells a bit more "true" on me.
When I bring my new purse home, much like a new child, there is an uncomfortable period of adjustment. Over time, I learn to love and embrace my new purse. Once I switch purses I never go back to an old one, I just cast them aside. Poor purses.
Em I have that problem too. Everything smells good on my pefume junkie friend but never quite has the same effect on me. Either it is not good or it barely smells at all.
oily and em, I've had people ask me what scent I was wearing and when I tell them, they look confused and say "it doesn't smell that way on ME!".
it's TOTALLY body chemistry.
FYI, mine isn't really even perfume, it's stuff from Bath & Body Works.
I really do need to learn to put the tester on and walk around a while and let it settle before I make a purchase all willy-nilly!
