Move over anorexic starlets, there's a new hot celebrity trend to criticize.
With Angelina Jolie off having a baby or not having a baby or whatever the hell she is doing with herself, Brad Pitt has been spending some quality time with the other, soon to be forgotten, children. Maddox is old enough to ride his own trike and will probably be risking his own life riding around on a motorcycle in whatever country his parents choose to plant him in by next year. Zahara on the other hand, is too young to propel her own body on wheels. That’s why she has Brad Dad to endanger her adorable little life. The New York Daily News reports:
Maddox, who wore a helmet, peddled a tricyle. Zahara, who did not, rode in a blue papoose strapped to Brad's back. That's a no-no, according Debra Smiley Holtzman, author of "The Safe Baby."
"[Zahara] needs a helmet and closed-toe shoes," Holtzman tells Us Weekly, which features photos of the outing in its new issue. "And I highly recommend toddlers ride in a child trailer pulled by a bike. It's more stable and secure."
Baby Talk senior editor Christina Vercelletto agreed.
Makers of the baby-pack "specifically say, 'Do not use while riding a bike,'" Vercelletto told us. "[It] will affect your balance. The safest place for her would be in a toddler bike seat."
Ha-HA. Another day another celebrity with brazen disregard for his/her child’s safety.
Furthermore, never let it be said that MollyGood commenters aren’t vigilant. On Monday I posted a scan of a tabloid with a picture from this same bike ride. Reader Sandy pointed out that this looked mighty dangerous:
Is it really safe to ride a bicycle with a young kid strapped to your back?? Just looks a little dangerous to me.
Lord knows if I ever have children of my own, which I certainly shouldn't, I will surely break them in some horrible mistake. Until then, I'll sit here and comfortably judge. Hopefully Angelina has this baby soon so she can get back to making sure Brad doesn’t kill their children when she isn’t looking.

Yeah, biking with babies is like totally one of the most irresponsible things to do. It is like drinking and then letting your baby drive home. Totally irresponsible parenting. It is like smoking cigarettes and blowing the smoke into your baby's face.
PLEASE people! I remember a time when grewing up and parents did stuff like this and did not get ridaculed for it. I never wore a helmet and the majority of people reading this didnt either. As for the Zahara thing, they are in a 3rd world country for Christ sake. I dont think they have too many resources around to look for a proper seat for the baby. Give them a damn break!
I remember when cars didn't have seatbelts and people smoked cigarettes to cure themselves of asthma.
At least Brad had the commonsense to throw a helmet on Maddox. God forbid Maddox gets injured and Angelina has to go back to Asia and adopt another one.
