The Good Guys

Paul Newman, who the National Enquirer says has six months left to live after battling lung cancer, might be the last decent guy in Tinseltown. Perhaps understanding that he's on his way out, he's taken his entire stake in salad dressing and cookie company Newman’s Own … and given it to charity. All $120 million worth.

Oh Paul. If there was one we could keep forever, could it please be him?
He has always given the proceeds from the Newmans Own brand to charity. His wife is from here and they used to come in frequently to visit her parents (her dad was a prominent physician) and her siblings. My sister worked at the airport and said they were always super nice.
Does Paul know he’s on his way out or is this just a National Enquirer thing, cause I know some Hole in the Wall people and they said he’s fine. Just old. : )
I love him.
They don't make em like they used to, that's for sure. A great man, and one of the most handsome in his day too.
If only I lived in his day, I can't get enough of Cool Hand Luke.
I hope this cryogenic thing works out - we need people like him on this earth.
I remember watching Jay Leno a fews years back and he and Jay raced go-carts around the studio and the back lot. It made me like him all the more considering he was pretty old at the time. It showed that he was still a fun guy who didn't take himself too seriously.
If all men were like Paul, all women would be married and most children would be beautiful. His sperm should be available for insemination. 100 million women should have his baby. The world would be a more beautiful, intelligent, and charitable place. Genetic engenering- oh please make it happen NOW!!!!
It will be a sad sad day when he passes on.
His salad dressings are amazing. I only use his brand.
This article is mistaken to say "since he's on his way out," he's now giving $120 million of the Newman's Own biz to charity. When Newman's Own began, the profits went to charity. All goes to charity after taxes. It's important to understand he did this for years, not "on his way out"……
