"Greed Is Good"

snystock

Sanofi-Aventis, one of the world's leading pharmaceutical companies and makers of Ambien, the sleep aid rumored to be a factor in the death of Heath Ledger, saw their stock rise almost two points today. We're not inarguably certain what this means, but we think it's possible that investors don't care if this company's products might be killing people (and making them sleepwalk and making them crash their cars).

I've heard some crazy stories from people who were on that shit. Actually driving and not even remembering doing it. Sleepwalking doing craziness and not having any memory.

Are you sure they aren't some kind of cloverfield thing? I couldn't figure out what that thing was but then it hit me, Rumple. Or maybe I just hit the Ambien too hard?

I am an insomniac, or maybe just the mniac part with the "a" moved to right after the "m" who knows…anyhoozle, it says all over the insert that it will can do these things to you, which I read and thought "Bring it, let's see whatcha got, Ambien!" I tried it, no real side effects, but it made me drowsy in the mornings and that sort of defeats the point of getting sleep, if you ask me. Then when I was hospitalized for asthma and pneumonia this winter they gave me Ambien because the major doses of steroids were making me twitchy and making it even harder for me to sleep. There are large gaps of time missing. Not that I want to remember a trip to the hospital, it's just I did things like ask a nurse for some tylenol for a headache then accuse him of never bringing it to me. WHen he had, I just couldn't remember. That scare me shitless. No more for me.

What ever happened to getting to sleep the old fashioned way - passing out after drinking too much whiskey?

I substituted alcohol with workahol so I could enjoy the whisky and afford better brands.

Amen, Lisa. If the bourbon aint broke, don't fix it. I would just fear telling everyone what I really thought about them and not remembering it in the morning. That would suck for everyone in your life to tell you they hate you and not even remember why.

I guess you could try and blame it on Ambien. Just for fun. It wasn't me talking honey, it was the Ambien. Wait, are you supposed to me more truthful on this crap?

coooter - My husband went through a period of sleep-eating and weight gain (not related to any medication, though). He was cured when one night he woke up and realized that he was licking apple-scented soap off his hand in the bathroom.

Next time I'm in line at the grocery store and someone pulls out a bill folder full of coupons and double checks EVERY item, I am going to kick them in the shins. But then I will pretend I'm sleepwalking and walk away. Too bad I didn't have this though yesterday night at Krogers.
