Judging in womens gymnastics is a joke. The whole thing seems rigged in favor of the China. If I were to flip on NBC and hear that the gold in balance beam has already been give to China before the competition started it wouldn't even surprise me.

I think it's nice that he loves his mom. What's so bad about that? I hope he cashes in like crazy. Normally I hate that sort of thing, but he seems like a really down to earth and truly nice guy. Hopefully the money and fame don't ruin him. Perhaps Whitney can keep him in check ;)

Gymnastics judging is similar to ice skating - very subjective. But…that tie breaker was stupid. Nastia did do a better routine in the first place and they had to do 2 tie breakers to determine who won. Not to mention the vault that Sacramone got 4th and the Chinese girl that got bronze totally f#cking fell! The hell?

Oh yeah, and the Chinese are under-age. I'm surprised the Nastia didn't roll her eyes the entire time she was doing her routine. I know I would have :)

i am so phelpsed out already. i love how Bolt was criticized for unsportsman-like conduct during his freakishly fast 100 meters but everytime i see recaps of this guy he's hootin and hollerin. guess it's only ok for some.

Kitten I think Nastia should have given the Chinese girls her death stare. That girl can give the nastiest of glares while she is sitting and waiting to perform. That being said, I didn't even watch it!! It was the first night I didn't have the Olympics on. I had too much sleep to catch up on from watching it too late the rest of the week/weekend.

It's probably best you didn't watch. It was really sad when Nastia didn't understand why she was 2nd place even though they were tied. I would have loved it if she just would have said "F#ck this" and walked out!!

One of my friends said she should have left the medal on the podium and walk away. She would have been crucified by the media of course, but you just know that little Chinese girl that got gold would have snatched it up and put it on.

I'm pretty sure Nastia can stare down the devil. When Death comes for her it will have to sneak up behind her. Death won't stand a chance if it makes eye contact with her.
