I would like to first state that I am not defending Brit however, there is quite an age difference here. Why don't you try to compare her with a single mother her own age?

Regardless of age she needs to be more responsible. If your gonna bring kids into this world care about them.

I don't think age should be an excuse for her inappropriate behavior, Pepperdog. I was 25 when my twins were born, and once you become a mother, things have to change. I admit, I was surprised at the amount of time they took from me, and how much I had to give up for them. But you do it because you love them. By making the commitment to have children, you are committing to put their interests and well-being before your own. That is a sacrifice you make as a parent. Cord is right, it should be common sense. I don't know Britney personally, but she seems like a pretty crappy parent sometimes and I do wonder the same thing about her…how in the world does she not know better? Isn't she thinking at all about what her kids will think when they see how she acts in public?

i haven't seem Keisha Castle Hughes' vagina and she's 17 so I guess age is kinda irrelevant. You also don't see Shar (who is also an attention whore) out partying every night.

Yet Shanna Moakler(sp?) is just as bad as Britney and almost as old as Mariska.

Pepperdog: Britney isn't 16. She is old enough to do better. No-one is asking her to be a perfect parent but certainly after her close calls with CPS, you'd think she would have gone to some parenting classes and be doing a better job. like putting a HAT on her kid's head. is that too much to ask? sheesh.

I used to be somewhat of a Britney fan, and granted her "crazy girl" antics were entertaining, but she has seriously crossed the line into eye-rolling. If you can't keep your legs closed in a skirt, wear pants.

I was 26 when I had my first and granted I was not a stupid as Brit and I am not saying Brit is a perfect parent but we all make mistakes. I did not have my picture with my legs open on the net however, I also did not have people following me around everywhere I went. I wonder how many of you parents out there would have had a bad picture or two taken if you where followed everywhere you went? My point was if you are going to make comparisons why not try to compare apples to apples not oranges.

Comparing apples to apples is comparing one mother to another. It is the same thing. Age should have nothing to do with it.

i still think the criticism of her is fair simply because she REFUSES to learn. and her refusal is clearly deliberate. Britney KNOWS that the cameras are following her around. she invites them to. and by opening her legs thusly, she is telling everyone to piss off. which would all be well and good if she was not the mother of 2 young babies. when Paris Hilton opens her legs i call her a slut but it ends there bec she is responsible to no-one but herself. when Britney gets jealous of the attention the other bad girls are getting and goes out of her way to make sure she gets some too, her behavior affects 2 innocent children. that's why she needs to change. for a start, she needs to simply stay home more. it's like she can't stand to be with herself — she is always going somewhere. that is so pathetic and so unfair to these 2 harassed children.

One of my fave celeb moms is Reese Witherspoon. She had Ava at age 23 and is a phenomenal mom who has her stuff together. She too is flocked by photographers, but we haven't seen her girly bits. Brit could learn a thing or two.

As for Brit, I am really starting to think that she is just one of those girls who should have gone to college and partied her ass off and gotten it out of her system.

Pepperdog, I don't criticize her for her "mistakes" as a mother that were caught on camera (the trip with SP and stuff, that kind of stuff happens). And yes, had I cameras following me around 24/7 there definitely would have been some "iffy" looking pictures snapped, I'm sure. But knowing that I had them following me would have changed my behavior; in turn if I realized that I had a hard time exiting a vehicle without showing my goods, I'd wear pants or learn how to get out of a car.

Apples to apples, the repetitive attention-grabbing antics are just plain getting old, parent or not…it just makes it worse that her kids are going to grow up hearing about it.

I did see those reports, they both deny, regardless, I have yet to see Shar's boobs, or snatch or ass or anything.

Also, I don't think anyone expects Brit to be perfect or not make mistakes but at the rate she's going she has yet to get anything right. And comparing her to other hollywood moms (Reese, Angelina, etc) is fair.

does this girl own a pair of jeans? my gosh, if you can't or won't learn how to get out of a car without your snatch hanging out, wear something else. it seems like pam anderson's kids are going to have it a bit easier than sean and jayden will have it. pam doesn't make an excuse for her behavior whereas britney is nothing but excuses ya'll. To add my voince in agreement, I would like to put in my two cents:

1) If you are wearing a skirt, do not wear lace thongs. I wear boyshorts or something with more coverage, and I am only worried about wind!

2) As a mother and 26-year-old, you are too old for mini skirts and sort sorts EVERY DAY. Ask Tracy and Clinton.

3) Petra Namakova (sp??) had on a short skirt and used her purse to cover a possibly exposed crotch. A hand pulling down the skirt fabric would also work. Brit has one free hand.

4) This has happened before, goddamnit, learn! Buy some longer skirts or some pants.

Mariska's baby is beautiful. SPF and JJ are ALWAYS photographed without hats and their poor little cheeks are pink. Those poor boys will be lucky to make it to age 10.

Come on "those poor boys will be lucky to make it to 10" give me a break. I have a very pale child as well and even with his hat on he has pink cheeks. Almost all of the pictures you see of Brit with the boys she is going from one building/car/plane/house/dance studio to another I don't think the boys need a hat on for that.

Lets also not forget Madonna, she was the biggest slut around and her children don't seem screwed up.

I totally think Brit should try to class it up a little but I really think a few of you should relax a little.

as far as the pink cheeked kids go, perhaps they are just one of us pale pasty people who have a ruddy (sp?) complextion. if you have an irish or scottish background, it's very common to be pale (seriously, you can't tell wear my socks end and my leg starts) and to turn bright pink or red in remote amounts of sun.

on another note, it wouldn't surprise me if brit was flashing her vadge for publicity. the girl doesn't exactly have a "career" anymore. bad publicity still gets her talked about.

Well, Pepper, maybe you also forgot her penchant for driving with them in her lap, facing the wrong way in the car seat or falling out of their high chairs.

Well Pepper (or should I call you Britney?), my husband and I definitely go out and have fun since having children, but there is a difference in the way we handle ourselves since there are two little guys who depend on us now. Madonna was very sexual and explicit, but she did not do it on the streets like Britney. Publishing a book and doing shows and videos with sexual themes is different than going out and flashing a million photographers on the street. And Madonna got all of that out of her system before kids.

i think that Britney thinks that she's really smart and that the joke is on us. which is why she was sooooo pissed about being made to go to rehab. she does not think she has a problem. she does not think she is a bad mother. and that is what makes her situation so scary because she is so stuck in defiant mode that it might take the death or serious injury of one of her children for her to wake up. hopefully CPS can help prevent that. Perrper i'm sure that you would do a better job of raising your kids despite your defence of this overpaid overindulged idiot.
