Daddy's Little Reminder of a Woman Scorned

dreese

Yikes! When your daughter looks exactly like the woman who divorced you for cheating, does it make it hard to look at her and not think she's hating you? I imagine it would be like hanging out with the twin brother of a guy who kicked your ass.

Obviously written by someone who has no children, although I do get that you are being tongue in cheek. But, holy crap, she does look EXACTLY like her mother.

Obviously not written by someone in a similar situation. My husband's exwife cheated on him and left him twice (with all the bills…tip of the iceberg). She's a known pathological liar, has made our lives a living hell many times, whines constantly and is seeks attention and drama. Unfortunately, his daughter not only resembles her, but acts JUST LIKE HER. Nothing you can do about genetics. We love her and her brother more than anything, but you do find yourself relating things and you have to step back and reapproach. However, it is funny to watch his ex get mad about the things their daughter does that is identical to the things she does.

I don't know, I don't have kids and I've never been in that situation. I would hope I wouldn't do that sort of thing. Hopefully he sees only the good qualities of both of them in his (too cute) daughter.
