We're really not all that upset about missing this year's Coachella. We can't overstate our disgust with Jack Johnson's marquee placement and, please: Vampire Weekend? Thhbbbbbbbb!
That said, being there to see Prince perform a cover of Radiohead would probably have been a delightful experience. If only one didn't have to wade through Paris Hilton et al to have had it.

How long before the greedy litigious control freak from Minneapolis sues to get that vid pulled from YouTube? He has a history of siccing his lawyers on any fans who dare post anything of his.
Very true, but he's also desperate from publicity. He was the inspiration for the first of countless banana shaped guitars I've purchased over the years.
Paris should have sang at this thing. She's wonderous. The Jack Johnson thing is spot on. His music is nice, relaxing, and works very well with a Corona and war weather, but headlining a rock show? Roll me a joint and give me a pillow.
I LOVED Radiohead…when I was 16. I'll take short whiny, desperate Prince, over the overrateds, any day. At least there would be fantastic costume changes.

Adequite, I'm OK with Radiohead. Not for 'em, not against them. I'm not a Prince groupie either though I actually did get to see his performance on Saturday and he did his thing and did it well. You thought it necessary to express your opinion and I was in the mood to mock it. I'm bored at work. That's it. Don't be all touchy. Tone down the exclamation point usage. and on the olde english. Now THAT'S hipster.

I saw DJ Mehdi and Uffie, The Raconteurs , Goldfrapp, The Verve, Serj Tankian, The Breeders, Vampire Weekend (My boyfriend hates them too, and left during their set to get beer), and Jack Johnson all in one day. Coachella was awesome if you asked me.
