'Do You Have an Actual Message? Without Cursing?'
Fox News' efforts to cover the "far left" groups gathering in Denver were met with a bit of creative criticism, like a crowd chanting "Fuck Fox News." Hold onto your hairdo, Griff Jenkins!

ha ha!
Gee, label protesters "far left" and question their belief in democracy, and get a hostile reaction. What a surprise - but only to Fux News and anyone too stupid to see what's wrong with Fux's approach to the story.
That crowd is only saying what most of us have been thinking.
Maybe just they're not too happy with a network that reports only what the Bush administration wants, and how they want it reported.
Fox News: Your Friendly Neighborhood Network Propaganda Machine.
It sounds as if the crowd knows exactly what "freedom of speech" means and are exercising it.
Wow. Those "thugs" really got out of hand and put that "brave" reporter's personal safety in jeopardy. I could tell he was terrified of what bodily injury might befall him in their midst.
Way to make a mountain out of a molehill as usual Fox News. Even if you can't keep everyone informed, at least you can keep them amused.
The group is called 'ReCreate'68 and if you go to their website you will see their purpose is to disrupt the Convention, so exactly why the "far left" tag is something to take offense at I'm not sure.
What was offensive is the reporter's lack of knowledge on the subject of freedom of speech. Only a Fox reporter would think FoS is an oppressive tool meant to make others answer your questions.
@k.shaw: Maoists are "far left". Marxist-Leninists are far left.
Far left doesn't simply mean to the left of Barack Obama. Only idiots like Bill O'Reilly and Fux News think that.
That's what's wrong with the far left label. That's why someone might "take offense."
well seeing as though i avoid fox news like the plague i only got through snippets of that cheesy ass reporter before i had to shut him down.
"lets see if we can work this crowd" was the final straw.
Lisa(#1) i did catch that snippet though. your comment makes so much more sense now!
faux news
I personally watch Fox News. I know when I am getting spin, I am not stupid, but I also know that they aren't the first to do it. How about the 90s folks? Anyone watch CNN during those years? There is a reason it is called the Clinton News Network. They were so pro-Clinton it made one want to vomit.
I guess my feeling is that everyone should have a right to get "news" skewed to their personal beliefs. I tend to be a conservative person, therefore I like to hear news that is from my perspective.
Anyone who thinks any of the news channels (or the big 3 nightly news programs) are giving them unbiased news they are crazy. News isn't news, it is editorialized before it gets to us. Just like today - conservative news sources are reporting the truth about Joe Biden's son Hunter and his lobbying (over $400,000 in consulting fees from lobbying his father's interests this year alone), but not one word of this from any other "news" source.
Thank the Clintons for the change in the news, that's my feeling. They taught politicians and their hacks how to feed the news to those who are willing to give them positive press.
even if your statement was correct, it seems silly to continue to support a faulty system just because "well, you guys did it too."
fox news, isn't news. news should never be skewed to a particular perspective because then it isn't news… it's commentary.
fox news is a despicable, disreputable "news" organization regardless of whether what you say about CNN and the clintons is an accurate depiction of the facts or not. wouldn't you rather hear news than editorialization? fox news plays down to the dumbest of the dumb. i'm not saying you are dumb. it's good that you know you're getting spin. many people don't.
ugh, i hate the MSM, and fox news in particular. i stay far away from it and get all of my news from the guardian uk and bbc.
"news should never be skewed to a particular perspective because then it isn't news… it's commentary."
Thank you STM…I was about to tell kat the same thing. "news from my perspective" ISN'T news.
try watching the BBC America news. it's JUST the news, no spin or commentary.
JUST news? No one telling me how to interpret it??? Ow! Forgot what THINKING feels like.
Is America Ready For Independent Thinking? We'll ask that question and have the answer for you, coming up.
JD, i laughed out loud at your comment and then when i got to sar's, i'm pretty sure a little pee came out.
but sar, you forgot the shock value story:
Independent Thought in America. What It Is and How It Might be Killing Your Children. Tonight at 11.
Another thing… it bugs the crap right out of me when Fox News asks those innocent questions:
Why do Democrats Hate America?
Do Democrats Want Us to Lose in Iraq?
Is Barack Obama a Muslim?
it makes we want take a butter knife and jam it into my achilles heel.
