Poetic Justice

You're right: poetry is often boring and insufferable (and, no, it's not because you "don't get it). But when it's not, specifically when it's being used to mock a movie said to "reek of depraved violence," poetry can be brilliant.

I hope for the artist sake they stay out range of Stallone's fist. He's fists first and asks questions later.
Yeah, but Rambo, he only fists for justice.
So I saw Rambo this weekend and it wasn't that bad as far as gore goes. It't no Ichi. Anyone see Hostel or any of those torture movies? I didn't but I would guess they were worse.
My grandmother has a heavy italian accent, last night she was going on and on about "rainbow" the newest Sylvester Stalone movie where he's in "the philipines and take a bow and a arrow and kill all the bad man". I was wondering for about 15min why they would call such a violent movie "Rainbow". God bless my nona. She is 66 and seeing Stalone makes her feel good, and I am pro anything that makes her happy. That is all, carry on.
I'd like to see her and my grandmother get together and listen to them kill english in the face. I love listening to my grandmother curse. Stoopid house= stupid ass. She curses like a drunken toddler.
quote from site where Cord sourced the pic….
"Rambo was almost certainly bamboo pole-raped by his North Vietnamese captors".
Maybe this explains his fist first ask questions later approach to life….they forgot to remove the pole.
If you don't believe me..just look at his expression on the poster.
Maria, you should rent them all for Nonna then! First Blood will make her cry, though. That is an all time fave movie of mine. FB 2 still has a message but more crap blows up. 3 has the most stuff blow up (though not at gorey as the most recent) AND has the added benefit of Rambo helping the Afghanistan rebels (like Bin Laden used to be) against the Russians. Oh the Cold War, how you are still relevant today!
Owwwww, addddrieeeeennnnne.
it was a good movie, it was sad as all hell but still a good movie. i've seen movies with alot more gore than that one.
sad but true story, there was a 3 year old sitting next to me during rambo and the poor thing cried the entire time. i kept telling him "it's ok, it's just make believe", i couldn't believe someone would take their child to see that. to make matters worse his dad left about 5 minutes into the movie and left the poor kid there by himself the entire time…i want to kill that guy in the face.
Juje: I am ignoring you.
Dei: that is when you call child protective services. I bet the dad was with a prostitute.
my husband had some not so kind words with the boy's father when the movie let out. people like that should not breed. true story.
Score one for your husband. He should have kicked him in the jimmies to keep him from further procreation.
no shit. the guy tells my husband "it's my fucking kid and i'll do what i want with him, mind your own fucking business you fucking wap". i had to drag my husband away, we don't have enough money to bail him out of jail right now.
Give your husband a big hug for me deimos (and he'll say who the hell is cooter) In that situation my husband would have been holding me back and telling ME to mind my own business. He's just like that.
I would have chipped in a 20 spot for bail. Or however much bail costs.
Come on Lisa #1. Let's let that silly restraining order go.
Rambo starts out as a boatman & snake-catcher in this latest…make of this what you will.
juju: I've seen Total Eclipse, which makes me think Rimbaud would have quite enjoyed Stallone's fist.
