Sherri Shepherd used some on-air time on The View to address some of her quotes in a new issue of Precious Times, a black Christan women’s magazine. Basically, she said she had more abortions than she could count (they left out part of the quote, she said) and that is she were Juanita Bynum she would be able to save Barbara Walters (a joke, she said). It was an awkward moment, even for The View.

I'll give her the benefit of the doubt here… It seems like standard practice to chop up and reorganize people's words for magazine interviews, like so much magentic poetry on your freezer.
*magnetic. The poetry is not of the magenta nationality or something.
I'm at a loss as to why this show is still on. Listening to these women argue is like fingernails on a chalkboard
why is it that sherri and elizabeth spend most of their afternoons reiterating past arguments over and over again. if they could speak intelligently the FIRST time they could go sit by the pool and drink tea and relax.
A black, christian, women's magazine? Shit! How specific do we get with demographics? Are we also going to have a bi-sexual, handicapped, Asian magazine also? Is there a big demand for that sort of thing? If so, I totally need a free-lance job.
after seeing the clips from this episode of the view i was left wondering one thing: can you honestly talk about 'saving' others and being a good christian when you've had "countless" abortions? i'm no genius (nor am i a christian or pro-life), but shouldn't ms. sheppard be worrying about saving her own fat ass?
when i watch the view the only sound i hear is that of the parents on charlie brown. "wawawawa wawa wawa wa wa"
And here I thought that Precious Times were just crappy figurines to be avoided at Hallmark. Now I know it's a crappy black women's Christian magazine to be avoided at all costs.
