Whoops! It looks like OJ Simpson, the stabbiest Heisman Trophy winner in the history of football, has recently been making a lot more money than people knew (the NFL alone pays him pensions of $400,000 a year!). Besides tax authorities and golf resorts, the main party interested in Simpson's income is Fred Goldman, the father of one of Simpson's alleged murder victims, who strongly believes that bankrupting his son's killer translates to justice.
Fred Goldman's lawyer, David Cook, tells TMZ that what he's really interested in is the $772,090 in "personal property" that O.J. claims on his 2005 return, because the pensions are exempt from the $33.5 million judgment that Fred won in 1997 — and which they've been trying to collect ever since. Cook says he's not sure what the "personal property" consists of, but says he'll be going after it.
Has news reached the nation's slums that in some circles poverty is considered punishment for murder? Someone should go tell them. Things will get interesting soon thereafter.

Well, no one would sue those inner city people in a civil lawsuit in the first place. And OJ would be in jail if he didn't have all those millions for the lawyers.
If you make him broke enough, maybe lawyers would stop working for him. Not that public defenders are bad, just that he'd have a helluva lot less resources.

I can't say I 100% agree with Fred Goldman becuase it seems as those his whole life is consumed with getting, OJ. I think it would make his son sad.
Having said that, I've never had a child murdered so I can't even begin to imagine that kind of pain. I have no idea what I would do.
But since I'm still working on perfecting that curse to turn my cheating ex boyfriend into an actual penis head, I can be a vengeful bitch.

If Simpson will go to jail (and probably will for a LONG time), won't taking money from him hurt his kids and not him? His kids are victims, too, and OJ's behavior is not their fault.
Dad getting away with killing your Mom is a mixed blessing, I would think. Justice for Mom versus losing another parent.
But you have to spend the rest of your life as OJ's kid. Anyone who knows can hassle you about it at any time. At least Simpson and Brown are pretty anonymous last names.
