SOSCat Owen Wilson has reportedly taken to urinating with the door open in restrooms to prove that he's not doing drugs while inside. More vulgar than you'd expect, no?
At Los Angeles' Museum of Contemporary Art on Sunday, the recently hospitalized "Darjeeling Limited" star attended a ball in honor of artist Takashi Murikami. "He was with a girl with blond highlights," said our spy, "and he went to the bathroom and peed with the door open."
First the unhinged get all the good parking, then they're allowed to wear slippers to restaurants and now they're granted lenient bathroom etiquette rules. I need a good meltdown.

Whats really funny is, who cares if he's doing drugs in the bathroom. I sure dont! The only one that he should be proving that to is himself.

umm tons of guys piss with the door open at bars and resturants… actually if all that you're doing is pissing then usually you dont close the door… its the same as being at a urinal. (who said he was doing it to show he wasnt doing drugs)

His rep said he's doing this to "protect himself from innenudo and lies." Huh? Wouldn't it be better (and maybe more hygenic) to just give a REAL interview (not that Wes Anderson MySpace sham) and let people know what is going on with him? That might help to end some of the innenudo at least. Instead, Owen's going around, looking like a washed-out druggie while maintaining his hermit-like silence, and then wondering why people are talking smack (no pun intended) about him…His business is ALREADY out there. It's time to clarify - give an interview!
The Wes Anderson interview wasn't sold as being the "suicide interview", so I wouldn't call it a sham. Maybe his therapist (I hope he's got one) has asked him not to talk about it publicly until he's figured shit out. If he jumps the gun on the interview he might be accused of being a drama queen or drumming up press for the release of his movies. I'm getting tired of defending him but he's so dreamy. Also, I think accusing Cord of sitting down to pee isn't going to really hurt him, you'll have to try harder.
My husband and boys always pee with the doors open. I alway walk behind them and close it. Nobody wants to see that shit. Literally.
