Today: Dead Baby Trees!

In an effort to bolster the ever-assailed decorum of the Internet, Mollygood looks to poetry with Someone Haiku. Each day – using 17 syllables or less – you’re given the opportunity to wax poetic about some piece of flotsam or jetsam that’s washed up on the shores of Mollygood. Hopefully this Zen practice will not only bathe you in self-discovery, but also bring a touch of Eastern class to a global network of information that’s devolved into nothing more than tit websites and provocative MySpace pictures.

Today's Someone Haiku is stacia:

why couldn’t this be
the 2 cups girls swearing off
nudity instead?

A Two Girls One Cup reference! Our gag reflex has never been so tickled by poetry. Fantastic work.

New one under here.

"He decorates it with dead babies and slime balls and things," [Helena Bonham] Carter, 41, tells Playboy magazine in its January issue, about trimming the tree with boyfriend (of six years) Burton, 49. "It looks lovely and glittery from afar, and then as you get closer, you realize it's rather gory."

Gracious, this one almost writes itself. But only almost; it's still up to you to make a disturbing poetic connection between the dead babies on the couple's Christmas tree and the live one Helena Bonham Carter's stomach. Good luck.

Dammit, I looked up Baroque. That might not do. In the interest of accuracy, here's another:

    Burton-Bonham babe,
    Born of bizarre bond, beware.
    Brothers fared badly.
