Bad Medicine

Action movie hero Sylvester Stallone is finally in his dotage. Rocky himself has come out to stupidly assert that people over 40 should take testosterone injections and that supplementary intake of human growth hormone is “nothing.”

HGH [human growth hormone] is nothing. Anyone who calls it a steroid is grossly misinformed…Testosterone to me is so important for a sense of well-being when you get older. Everyone over 40 years old would be wise to investigate it because it increases the quality of your life.

Your life maybe, Rambo. But you’re the one with the bow and arrow. We’ll stick to baths and scotch in our twilight years.

He’s absolutely right that testosterone supplementation can improve quality of life in aging men. But of course, “testosterone supplementation for well-being” is nothing close to the amounts of anabolic steroids he takes …

he wouldn’t need testosterone or HGH if he hadn’t used steroids when he was younger. i guess it is a problem when you’re over 40 and your penis is smaller than a hamster’s

Considering the world he lives in, where it’s normal to inject botchulism in one’s face, it’s really not that strange…but in the real world it seems like maybe he’s a complete nutjob.

HGH actually causes you to die faster. you body is supose to run out of HGH as it ages, it’s not natural to pump your body full of something it no longer wants or needs.

Cord to away the spammer and now I look like an idiot. Why would you want to inject HGH in your body anyway? esp when you don’t need it

Yes! I want to look that inflamed and agitated at that age. I’ll inject and medicate myself back to youth. I’ll have my face pulled back and up and over where my ears might have been. I’ll wear the same clothing my grandkids wear but with less self-consciousness. I’ll transplant hair plugs from back to front and bottom to top and dye my hair the color I think it might have been, or I’ll dye my scalp and fill in the rough spots with a Sharpie. I’ll spend half my retirement savings to slap a blinding white set of Japanese porcelain veneers over my aging teeth. And THIS WILL ALL LOOK SO NATURAL — NO ONE WILL KNOW!!! Age will never get the best of me, no sir.

If you think that steroids shrink the penis, and that men over 60 don’t SUFFER naturally from low test and hormone levels, why on earth are you even talking?

I wouldn’t speak on a subject I was so grossly misinformed about, and I’m someone who will NEVER touch anything - until I’m an old man, then I will consider.

Believe it or not, hormone and testosterone THERAPY can have great health benefits.

Possible, yes, but only if he used VERY incorrectly! These comments are hilarious.

And Bill, you have no idea how many, if any, anabolic steroids he takes.

Stallone was always very lean, but never freakishly huge and certainly much smaller than many, many naturals.

all these people that presume his penis and testicles are small are ??? have they seen them??? before science and medicine people lived to their 40s. with meds we live to the 80s!!!testosterone and hgh are meds!!! if these people only want to critize then I suggest they take no meds and live to the good old years of 40s… I would rather choose they accept med innovations and take a chill pill… no reason to be cruel
