rachel-bilson-hayden-christensen-shopping-10.jpg

Relatively new couple Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen are seen here heading to a shopping spree in Christensen's $200,000 Ferrari.

Hayden Christensen plays the gentleman, picking up new girl Rachel Bilson in his $200K Ferrari just to give her a ride to Barneys New York in Beverly Hills for a little shopping trip on Tuesday.

Hey, Hayden, driving $200,000 cars that get 11 mpg during wartime is so paradoxical they should study you. Not only is your blind materialism exactly what the terrorists hate, your blind materialism funds the terrorists. Thanks, dude!

And I don't think it's just apathy that drives these actions, but that's another conversation, for a non-celeb gossip blog. I come here to escape, not be slammed in the face by the real world all over again.

Yes, we are all consumers to a certain point. The trick is to not become a flashy dickhead. Sorry to burst your bubbles and bring ya back to Earth. Cord started it. ;-)

Why is it that Cord won't post when things happen like a comment points out a mistake, but will post to be a snarkky jackass to someone? Admittedly, that bothers me. You never thank anyone for input, you just want to show off your sarcastic comebacks.

Which means now I'll get one.

But I hope Hayden ran out of money for clothes. That makes naked Hayden.

I saw a Suburban 4 x 4 with stickers all over it that read: "Biodiesel–not war powered." At least this person recognizes that individual decisions effect the world–a compromise was struck. That stuff makes me smile.

    Kitchy,

With all due respect, from what I've seen, Cord corrects fundamental misconceptions of his writing. Labeling his responses snarky or sarcastic is an aesthetic judgment on your part. I don't see anything resembling those two labels in his above comment to Samantha.

Miss Kitchy, @ no 10, were you referring to "now you'll get one"- a flashy dickhead car, or rather, a snarky comeback -cause you've always had those- and I mean that with the highest respect possible ;-)

I think we should all just be chauffered around by naked Haydens, whether in a limo or on a bicycle.

Ronnie - I was making a tongue and cheek reference to the "rappers and celebrities" comments above. In no way did I mean to imply that Hayden has a big ass - 'cause I don't really know. You'd have to ask Rachel Bilson. :)

I do believe Hayden receives American dollars for the film hje shoots, and therefore pays US taxes. Hence, yeah, he does (like it or not) have a stake in the war.

Sure, sure. The USA is at war because actors drive around in big cars in Hollywood … utterly absurd.

I beleive Hayden was given this car as a gift for racing for charity in a cross country road race. One in which the darn thing brokedown almost immediately and had to be towed back to the Canadian dealership.

It's a Canadian Ferrari with a higher emission and gas standard than a US import Ferrari would have.

I am not sure anyone in their right mind would turn down a free gift of a slightly used Ferrari. Poor gas mileage or not, the emissions as excellent.

i would never buy any car that costs more than 50,000 dollas. theres no point, that is no ferrari cant be that much more quality than a new mercedes suv, its just really unessarly fast and full of fancy chrome dipped parts. the point is if i had 200,000 dollars i could spend on a car i would buy the 50,000 dollar one and give the rest to a charity or help my family pay some bills, im positive i could find a better use for the money, and im sure he could too. and if it were a gift i dont know my stance on that i sapose if he can afford the insurance (it might be sorta rude to sell a gift expecially when your in the public eye as he is) and if we want to say paying taxes means we are apart of the war then we all are, so i dont understand the concept of using that against someone as a negitive comment when you pay american taxes too…..
