Finally, a movie musical with enough gruesome murders to hold the attention of even my most priapic, weightlifting older brother.

So basically it's just a combo of every other Depp/Burton movie.

Depp is worth so much more than that, in my ever-so-humble opinion.

Crybaby was on tv this weekend. He is the only man on whom I find scraggly facial hair even remotely attractive. Le sigh.

Sasha B. is actually a good character actor (Bruno was my fave), so I think he will be good. Not like when Jim Carrey started - it was all mug-gy and whatnot. Oh, or Robin Williams.

Sorry, but that preview's almost certainly a fake.

That's not Johnny's look for this movie–he has a much wilder mane, including a shock of white hair and no 'stache. Most of the clip is stolen from "From Hell" and "Finding Neverland." The music is wrong as well–I think it was clipped from the recent Broadway revival.

Jim Carrey and Robin Williams bug the absolute shit out of me most of the time. In serious roles, they can be tolerable. But good God, lay off the mugging.

I agree that it is a fake. I thought the look was clean shaven with a white streak? That was the pics I saw before, but those could be fake. I almost mentioned how it looked like JD in From Hell.

I thought the girl with the curly hair reminded me of Heather Grahm. I liked From Hell. My husband hated it, said it dragged on too long. Probably, but I still liked it. It was no 21 jump street

Nothing, that's what's wrong with tv and movies today. Anybody remember the episode with Sherilynn Fenn, whom he was engaged to?

Who also was in Wraith with his best friend at the time, Charlie Sheen. Yeah, that was a good one.

I'll just go sit in the corner with my memories.

My mother has a recording of Sweeney Todd that I grew up with. The music is fantastic. Yes the story is macabre but it works. It's really really good stuff. I for one can't wait to see it.
