Thus far, celebrities are a rare sight at the Republican National Convention, presumably because the GOP has in recent years worked hard to eradicate things famous people love, like sex and gays. Anaconda star and hated father John Voight is there, but he's basically just running around by himself, calling Obama a socialist and reminding everyone why his daughter doesn't want him around her kids.

Brad Pitt doesn't want to be known for his boyish good looks, successful movie career or relationship with Saint Angelina — turns out what he really wants to do is take pictures. No, seriously. He wants to be a professional photographer. W magazine is on board with his childhood fantasy and has decided to allow Brad to shoot Angie and the kids for the November issue.
This is Pitt's inaugural turn creating a cover, although photography has been a longtime hobby of his. Not only did he appear on the March 2007 cover of Interview wielding a camera, Jolie reportedly gave him a Littman 45 single camera as a birthday gift.
Well by all means — if he's photographed holding a camera and was given a fancy one for his birthday, then he must be good.

Uh oh! Despite the fact that both magazines paid millions and millions of dollars for "exclusive" rights to photographs of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's new set of twins, the Los Angeles Times thinks Hello's spread has bested People's in terms of cuteness and intimacy.
And the award for most overhyped baby pictures of the year goes to People magazine, which had a countdown on its Web site over the weekend in anticipation of this glimpse at the new Brangelina twins. But don't worry if the cover doesn't satisfy your thirst for Knox and Vivienne — this week's issue will feature 19 pages of the babies and America's golden couple. Guess the mag has to get its money's worth.

Brad Pitt’s loudmouthed attorneys at Lavely & Singer are, preemptively, trying to clamp down on a series of photos that “were surreptitiously taken of Mr. Pitt and his family as they engaged in familial activities on private property, namely, in the privacy of the estate in which they are presently residing in France and where they had a reasonable expectation of privacy.” Not content with issuing a cease and desist letter after the pictures’ publication, L&S want to make sure these photos never make it into the public eye. (Too late, as you’ll see.)
Supposedly, the publication of these photos — showing Pitt and wife Angelina Jolie with the kids — infringe not just on Pitt’s privacy rights in the State of California, but also in France!
Except, according to one understanding of the law, this is wrong. Oh, and also? In Touch already published the pics.
