ANOTHER SIGN OF THE APOCALYPSE • "A one-year-old girl in Saudi Arabia is pregnant — with a fetus in her uterus and everything. Details are light but it appears be another case of an absorbed sibling — the mom was pregnant with twins, one wasn't viable, the other fetus absorbed it and it kept growing a little bit though technically it's not alive."

But Not Very Bright

Jessica Alba gave birth to daughter Honor a mere six months ago, and already she's posing for calendars in skimpy clothes. The "actress" spent a couple days in Malibu to shoot the Club Campari 2009 calendar, formerly graced by Eva Mendes and Salma Hayek, and had this to say about her experience:

All the clothes were very cool. They're young, sexy and fresh. … It was all very chic, but still young and cool, my favorite combination!

THAT POOR CHILD "Carson Daly and girlfriend Siri Pinter are expecting their first child together. … 'Carson is thrilled to be a father and they are looking forward to an extra special Thanksgiving this year with family and friends,' his rep Heather Lylis tells People. Over Our Heads

Like every emo kid that came before him, Pete Wentz thinks his son's name, Bronx Mowgli, is above everyone else's comprehension:

'I feel weird — people have all these ideas of what it means now,' Wentz says of his offspring's name during a phone call today to E! News' Ryan Seacrest. 'I think it's kind of cool to leave the narrative the way it is. People are stoked or pissed or whatever … I don't think anybody knows the real story of why or how.'

'We came up with the idea Bronx, we'd been throwing it back and forth a while ago,' he says. As for the origin of the middle name? 'The Jungle Book is something me and Ashlee bonded over. It's really cool.'

Trust us, Pete, you're not nearly as ground-breaking or cool as you'd like to think you are.

Well Played, Tim Burton

• Your first look at Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter in Alice in Wonderland. Needless to say, this movie is going to be awesome. [ICYDK]

Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson's baby refuses to come out. We don't blame him. [PS]

• The Kardashian sisters and a washed-up Laguna Beach star posing for pictures on the beach. If that's not newsworthy, we don't know what is. [HT]

Vivienne Westwood must be really desperate. [INO]

• The Victoria's Secret fashion show: Because there's nothing sexier than 50-pound wings attached to a 90-pound girl. [Yeeeah]

Courtney Love spent her Sunday writing up 60 (60!) posts for her MySpace blog in a matter of hours. [DListed]

Precious

Gwen Stefani published a picture of her new son, Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale (we're not even going to touch that name), on her Web site in an attempt to keep the paparazzi at bay. Nobody was paid for this exchange, yet everyone got to see the baby without privacy being invaded. Good for you, Gwen — and that baby is adorable.

WTF?

Christina Aguilera finally put out a music video for all five fans waiting with baited breath. The song, "Keeps Gettin' Better," is enjoyable enough; the video, not so much. She's been compared to Lady Gaga quite a bit as of late, but it's frighteningly true. What happened to Xtina? Did popping out a child turn her into some weird robot?

Full video after the jump. And yes, she does that (at right).

Happy Now?

The best part of last night's Saturday Night Live was actually a skit featuring Will Forte as a Halloween sexual predator, but stupid NBC won't release the video (much like the amazing Fancy Pants sketch from the season premiere). Instead, here's a clip of the opener, which parodied the Joe Biden and John Murtha remarks made at recent Obama rallies. It was fairly humorous, but not nearly as awesome as Kristen Wiig's tiny hands from a few weeks back.

On another note, why was Coldplay allowed to perform four times throughout the show? That seems a little unfair, no? If anyone has an explanation, feel free to enlighten us.

OK OK, one more thing and then we'll be done: Congrats to Amy Poehler, who had her baby Saturday night and was unable to make the show. Archie Arnett is the luckiest little boy in the world.

God Bless The Child

Lil Wayne, the emotionally stunted rapper who has no control over his own life, is about to take charge of another: A son. Upon accepting an award at the BET Hip Hop Awards over the weekend, he announced that he has a baby on the way and asked everyone to pray for him. It's going to take lots of prayers, dude.

TIME TO FIND A GOOD DIVORCE LAWYER, MRS CIPTAK "A new father has secretly named his baby girl Sarah McCain Palin after the Republican ticket for president and vice president. Mark Ciptak of Elizabethton [Tennessee] put that name on the documents for the girl's birth certificate, ignoring the name Ava Grace, which he and his wife had picked earlier. 'I don't think she believes me yet,' he told the Kingsport Times-News for a story to be published Tuesday. 'It's going to take some more convincing.' Ciptak, a blood bank employee for the American Red Cross, said he named his third child after John McCain and Sarah Palin to 'to get the word out' about the campaign."

Now Calm The Hell Down

And here it is: The "scandalous" photo of Angelina Jolie breastfeeding one of her new babies on the cover of W magazine. If nobody would have made a big to-do about this in the first place, we wouldn't have looked twice at the picture.

Hit Me Baby One More Time

Normally we wouldn't trust this story, courtesy of the National Enquirer, but we would have never believed that Britney Spears would shave her head and hold her child hostage in a bathroom, so it's safe to say that the Spears family isn't exactly predictable. And then there's the source, who was right that one time about John Edwards, so we can't fully doubt the credibility of this rumor. Instead, we'll just pray it's not true.

Jamie Lynn Spears is pregnant again, y'all! Only three months after giving birth to her first child, the teenage mother is already knocked up for a second time.

'Jamie Lynn is about eight weeks pregnant, and she and her mom Lynne are hysterical. … Jamie Lynn believed she couldn’t get pregnant while she was breast-feeding. She’d expected to have her period by early September.' A home pregnancy test came back positive and Jamie Lynn cried her eyes out, said the source.

OK, first off, why is Lynne furious? This is just another child to add to her pot of boiling cash cows. You know she's already got OK! on the phone for yet another million dollar exclusive. Secondly, friends are supposedly urging JL to abort this baby so she can focus on the first. It's a shame there's no way to avoid getting pregnant in the first place … perhaps some sort of protection? Oh right, they make that. And JL obviously doesn't use it.

I Just Practice The Religion Faithfully

Jennifer Lopez, friend and relative of a plethora of Scientologists, defended the religion in a recent interview — but she's totally not a member of the cult. She just holds the same beliefs, hopes to school her children in Scientology lessons and thinks it's a great way of life. Got it?

I do know a lot about Scientology. And I know about the practices. I know all about what the technology is and all that kind of stuff. It's very helpful. So in a sense, yeah, you do call on it. No [I don't consider myself a Scientologist]. I wouldn't have a problem saying it because I know what it is. I have no problems with it and it really actually bothers me that people have such a negative feeling towards it.

J.Lo went on to tell about a nervous breakdown she had a few years ago on the set of Enough: "Right away they want to give you pills. But I have never liked the idea of pills and kept saying no to that. … I've still never been to a shrink. I'm not a shrinky person." So you don't believe in medicine or shrinks. Hmm. If it walks like a duck…
