Mark Wahlberg, the man behind both "Good Vibrations" and Entourage, isn't exactly known for his warm and friendly demeanor. So it should come as no surprise that Marky Mark had some harsh words for Saturday Night Live after the show featured a clip of him (played by Andy Samberg) talking to random animals. The sketch was bizarre and slightly humorous (still, it's no "Fancy Pants"), but Wahlberg was not amused.
Someone showed it to me on YouTube. It wasn't like Tina Fey doing Sarah Palin, that's for sure. And Saturday Night Live hasn't been funny for a long time. They've asked me to do the show a ton of times. I used to watch it when Eddie Murphy was there and Joe Piscopo and Bill Murray. I don't even know who's on the show now.
Oh, Marky Mark. You should probably be grateful to SNL for this whole thing — it's the most attention you've had in years. Click through for the clip and judge for yourself. CONTINUED »

SNL's Weekend Update moved to a new spot in lieu of the upcoming elections, and last night marked the first time the precursor to The Daily Show featured a mid-week special, hosted by Seth Meyers and Amy Poehler.
Was it funny? Meh. Was Bill Murray there? Ye-op:

Rumor has it Columbia Pictures is quietly putting together a script for a third installment of the Ghostbusters franchise. Hoping to bring back the original cast, which included Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson, the studio has enlisted top-notch producers of The Office to write the new script.
Obviously this would be huge, but would it kill Hollywood to pass up a money-making opportunity to preserve the awesomeness of the classics?
Despite signing a prenup when the couple got married in 1997, Jennifer Butler Murray, Bill Murray's soon-to-be ex-wife, is asking a court to determine if the contract to which she agreed is valid. Never mind the fact that the prenup as is grants Jennifer $7 million cash and a $1 million house from Bill, she wants more. A real feminist, this one.
WHAT ABOUT BILL? "Comedian Bill Murray's wife of 10 years, Jennifer, has filed for divorce. In documents filed May 12 in a Charleston, S.C. family court, she accuses him of 'adultery, addiction to marijuana and alcohol, abusive behavior, physical abuse, sexual addictions and frequent abandonment.'"

If you would, please help us decipher what this small item running in today's Page Six is getting at.
Bill Murray - who was ticketed last year in Sweden for drunken driving in a golf cart - had onlookers snickering when he was escorted outside for some "fresh air." The comic and his "lady friend" were sipping wine at the Bond Street restaurant in the Thompson Beverly Hills hotel last week when, according to our source, "Bill had to have a hotel employee help them outside to the balcony." We're told he "got some fresh air" and ordered another glass of wine before heading back inside.
Why is "fresh air" placed accusingly in quotation marks? Was Mr Murray presumed to be doing something on the balcony besides getting some fresh air? Was he presumed to be doing drugs? Was he drunk? If so, why did they serve him another glass of wine? And why were other patrons "snickering" at him? Why did we just put "snickering" in quotes? WHAT IS GOING ON HERE!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Seeing Bill Murray look so old and tired is like seeing the water level rise in Venice. Shit, man. Shit.
After the jump, more from the premiere of Michael Clayton.
