JONAS BROS JUMP THE GASSY DOG "Another hot Disney Channel act is poised to make a bigscreen splash — at 20th Century Fox. Fox has locked the Jonas Brothers to make their feature starring debut in 'Walter the Farting Dog.' Based on a bestselling series of books by William Kotzwinkle and Glenn Murray, the film is being adapted by Alec Sokolow and Joel Cohen into a family film that will revolve around Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas, as well as their younger brother Frankie. … The title character in the 'Walter' books is a fat dog with severe flatulence. The brothers play musicians whose parents are asked to care for the dog by an aunt just before she passes away."

It's been confirmed: "Sources say that police have told the Hudson family that the body found on Chicago's West Side is that of 7-year-old Julian King. … Law enforcement sources said that the boy was shot multiple times in the back of the vehicle."

What can we say about the Jennifer Hudson tragedy that hasn't already been written? Our thoughts are with the surviving family members, who seem to be getting more and more terrible news, the latest involving the discovery of a body believed to be Jennifer's 7-year-old nephew. Losing a mother, brother and nephew in such a violent and inexcusable act is unfathomable to most of us, so all we can hope is that justice will eventually be served.
After the jump are two videos: One featuring Jennifer talking about her family ties, complete with a clip of her mother standing by her side after her Oscar win in 2007 (starting around the 1:00 mark); the other showing her family at home in Chicago during her Oscar win. We'll keep you updated on any new developments, but until then, keep Jennifer's family in your thoughts. CONTINUED »
BODY FOUND; LIKELY HUDSON'S NEPHEW "The Cook County medical examiner's office is investigating reports on Monday of a child's body found in an SUV in Chicago, a spokesperson for the office told CNN. The Chicago Tribune — citing the medical examiner's office — reported that the body of a boy was found Monday morning in a white SUV connected with Julian King, the missing nephew of Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Hudson."
Why, yes, that is narcissistic New York Times columnist Bono with two 19-year-old girls on his lap in the South of France. WHAT AN ASCETIC REVOLUTIONARY!!!!!
During a vaction to St Tropez last month, the married, 48-year-old anti-poverty campaigner spent one whole day and night drinking fruity cocktails with Andrea Feick, an American fashion student studying in Paris, and her friend, Hannah Emerson. The party started at a beach bar and then moved aboard a $25 million yacht. For AIDS!
Feick, who writes on Facebook that her occupation is 'Jean Paul Gaultier party planner,' told the Daily Mail that she and Bono have been friends for a few years, but insists that they've never been romantically involved.

HUDSON OFFERING $100K REWARD FOR NEPHEW Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Hudson is offering a $100,000 reward for the safe return of her nephew, Julian, who police believe has been kidnapped across state lines. Hudson's mother and brother were killed on Friday and her estranged brother-in-law has been apprehended as a "person of interest," but Julian remains missing.
GILLIAN ANDERSON GIVES SONS 'ODD' NAMES "'X-Files' star Gillian Anderson has evidently drawn inspiration from 'The Odd Couple' when it comes to naming her sons. The 40-year-old actress has given birth to a boy named Felix, People magazine reported on Monday, almost two years after she delivered her first son, Oscar. 'The Odd Couple,' a Broadway play written by Neil Simon in 1965, revolved around a neurotic newswriter named Felix and a slovenly sportswriter named Oscar who are forced to live together. A 1968 feature film starred Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau in the respective roles."

The unstable and Peter Pan-like Michael Jackson has once again put himself in a suspicious position, this time moving into a Las Vegas mansion across the street from an elementary school for children 13 and younger. We couldn't make this stuff up.
Casino owner Steve Wynn reportedly put Michael up in attempts to persuade the singer to appear in a Vegas comeback show. Regardless of who selected this property, did nobody think for one second that this might look bad for someone previously accused of child molestation? Nobody?
Most of the parents are concerned, claiming "he can see the kids getting on the school bus from his house." We'd be more concerned about the children actually wandering over to his Neverland-type setup like moths to a flame, but to each his own.

ANNOYING D-BAGS DOING GOOD THINGS "With a little help from his friends, Justin Timberlake put [$1 million] in the pockets of Shriners' Hospitals for Children, an organization that provides medical care for kids in need. And what good friends: the Jonas Brothers, Rihanna, 50 Cent, Leona Lewis, Adam Levine, Lionel Richie and Boyz II Men joined the "Sexy Back" star in Las Vegas, where Timberlake, 27, hosted a weeklong pro-celeb golf tournament, capped off by a charity concert and afterparty."

Yohane Banda, the man who allowed Madonna to adopt his child and then used the situation repeatedly to bask in the media spotlight, is back at it after hearing news of the singer's divorce from Guy Ritchie.
Instead of offering up a respectable "no comment," the father has this to say:
I am still a poor farmer with nothing to offer, but maybe he'd be better off back with us. This woman, Madonna, told me herself that David was beautiful and made her happy and she promised to take care of him. Now I see him in a big bewildering crowd in the street with people pushing and shoving, and many cameras around, and without a mother and father to hold his hand. I'm feeling bad for him.
OK, we tend to agree that celebrity children shouldn't have to put up with the paparazzi madness, but what good can come of Banda publicly wishing David was back in his arms? The child deserves better than being treated like a winning lottery ticket.

If Angelina Jolie is known for one thing, it's not her (formerly) scandalous relationship with Brad Pitt or her army of children — it's her lips. And Hollywood is well aware of this, as evidenced by the recent promotional poster for Angie's latest movie, The Changeling. It's reminiscent of her past movie posters, which tend to focus on her money makers above all else. Could we even recognize her from the nose up?

George Hamilton revealed on the cougar talk show The View (while promoting his new memoir) that he had an affair with his stepmom when he was 12 years old.
When I was very young, 12, I had a relationship with my stepmother. Yeah. She was about 28, 30. It was very normal. My father never knew about it. It was very normal. She didn't make me feel bad about it.
He laughed when asked if he thought he was abused, saying he was very willing, despite the whole breaking the law thing: "It didn't feel abnormal."
We just threw up our lunch.

"YOU'RE A DEMOCRAT! YOU'RE GAY! YOU'RE JEWISH!" Little Bill O'Reilly returns to give Barney Frank a piece of his mind.

Brad Pitt's photography is finally ready for public consumption, thanks to the latest issue of W magazine. The beautiful actor shot multiple pictures of his significant other, Angelina Jolie, and the couple's army of children. The photos are gorgeous, of course, but we are a little perplexed by Angie's strange ability to turn into insufferable Project Runway contestant Kenley Collins.

THE MALLEABILITY OF CHILDREN We've updated our post on the Sarah Palin Parking Lot. Go back and watch part two of the footage, complete with a child who's been taught to hate.

What's funnier than children swearing? Children swearing while doing a fantastic impression of frothing, maniacal stupid man Bill O'Reilly!

Thomas Jefferson's possible replacement is a winking, stammering anti-intellectual saying "doggonnit" when discussing policies that affect the lives of millions, and you need more proof we're in our last days? Fine, you asked for it.
Under here, the most horrifying story we've read in weeks.

EH, WE STILL DON'T BUY IT "The International Gymnastics Federation has ruled that China did not enter any underage gymnasts at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, the Associated Press reported on Wednesday. 'Originals of official documents received from the Chinese Gymnastics Association, specifically passports, identity cards and family booklets or Household Registers, confirm the ages of the athletes,' the International Gymnastics Federation said in a statement."
