Coulter More Terrible Than We Knew

Anne Pressley, a Little Rock, Arkansas TV reporter who recently had a small part as Ann Coulter in Oliver Stone's mocking film W, was found in her home brutally beaten and stabbed yesterday. She's now in critical condition in an Arkansas hospital.

Coulter continues to run free, certainly guilty of this and many other heinous crimes.

The world is not fair.

BRIT NEEDS TO STAY AWAY FROM CARS "Britney Spears was involved in another car accident with a photographer on Wednesday, just hours after her criminal lawyer rejected a final plea bargain in her driving without a license case. Luckily, Britney was not behind the wheel on Wednesday afternoon. Her bodyguard was driving her to a vintage clothes store in Hollywood when he and a photographer’s car collided."

Lying Lohan

Dina Lohan has displayed plenty of bad judgment in the past: She married Michael Lohan, the crazy famewhore who likely puts the latest issue of OK! magazine next to the Bible on his nightstand; she steered daughter Lindsay down the worst path possible, which led to arrests and multiple stints in rehab; then she paraded her youngest daughter, Ali, on reality television in an effort to score a record deal. It's quite sad, actually.

To aid her latest project, Dina went to the media with claims that music manager Johnny Wright is desperate to steer Ali's career, much like he has done with Justin Timberlake and the Jonas Brothers. Dina's rep issued a statement saying she was "interested and would take the meeting" with Wright. One problem: Johnny hates her guts and has no problem admitting it.

His rebuttal (Sherri Shepherd's word of the day) after the jump.

THIS TIME, OJ'S GUILTY "O.J. Simpson has been found guilty on all charges in the gunpoint robbery of two sports memorabilia dealers in a Las Vegas casino hotel room more than a year ago. The 61-year-old former football faces up to life in prison. A somber Simpson released a heavy sigh as the charges were read Friday in Clark County District Court. He was immediately taken into custody. The verdict comes 13 years to the day after Simpson was acquitted of killing his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ronald Goldman, in Los Angeles."

Poor Heather

Try to think back to earlier this week when Heather Locklear was arrested on suspicion of DUI. She looked crazy, but TMZ is saying that the woman who reported the crime in the first place is even crazier — she's a former Us Weekly staffer. Yeesh.

Jill Ishkanian, who allegedly hacked into Us Weekly's computer system to locate celebs after she left the mag, was following Locklear in the Montecito area. Ishkanian watched the actress go to a market. When Heather got in her car, Ishkanian called 911, even though the car wasn't even moving at the time.

After calling 911, Ishkanian took the next logical step: She called a paparazzi agency to take pictures of the event, because why wouldn't Heather want to document this memory? But this isn't helping Locklear one bit: Officials said that Ishkanian's actions don't take away her credibility as a witness. Just her soul.

Or Something Like That

Did everyone have a good weekend? Heather Locklear did: The actress was arrested Saturday night in Santa Barbara for driving under the influence of what cops believe to be drugs. A resident called police after witnessing Heather "driving erratically"; when police found her, she had parked her car on a state highway, blocking a lane. Sounds perfectly normal to us.

After being tested for drugs and alcohol, law enforcement reported that alcohol was not involved. She was released without posting bail — but not before delivering one of the most terrifying mug shots of all time. Good one, Heather!

OF COURSE HE WON'T "Shia LaBeouf will not be charged with drink-driving [sic] after he was involved in a car accident in Los Angeles. But the Indiana Jones star's licence could still be suspended because he refused a breathalyser test at the time, sheriff's officials said. 'Shia is most happy that he will not have to go to court,' said his lawyer, Michael Norris."

Good news, Brooke Hogan! Your delinquent brother, Nick, will be released from prison three months early due to good behavior. Well, he may have been behaving appropriately, but the rest of the Hogan family failed at that aspect. Will they be receiving any sort of punishment?

The littlest Hogan will be back on the streets Oct. 21, so let this be a warning to all of our Florida readers: You have four weeks; pack up all your belongings and run.

Now Guess How He Did It!

This here's University of Tennessee student David Kernell, the 20-year-old go-getter who "hacked" into Sarah Palin's e-mail account by guessing the answers to her Yahoo security questions.

Since the FBI stormed Kernell's apartment last week, in the process breaking up a party he was having, the young man's father, Democratic Tennessee state representative Mike Kernell, has made sure David's lawyered up tight and ready for the impending shitstorm.

Currently, it looks to be unlikely that David will go to jail for his crimes.

Now on to the important stuff: What were Sarah Palin's easily guessed security question answers?

Method Acting

Actor Lillo Brancato Jr, whose most recent work of note was as mobster Matt Bevilacqua in The Sopranos, will go on trial next month for the 2005 murder of an off-duty police officer.

Brancato and another man were allegedly stealing prescription drugs from a private residence when the officer came upon them and a chase ensued. Brancato's co-defendant, Steven Armento, is accused of firing the fatal shot. Brancato claims he didn't know Armento was armed.

This story is about 500 percent less sexy than it would have been on HBO.

A Wal-Mart employee in Louisiana is in trouble with the feds for stealing a (technically) pornographic photo of Jamie Lynn Spears breast-feeding her child. There are just so many things wrong with this story, we don't know where to begin.

Jamie Lynn's fiance, Casey Aldridge, took your average I'm-a-new-teen-parent pictures on his digital camera and then ordered copies at his local Wal-Mart (of course), where one of the employees got a little too excited about a picture of a 17-year-old exposing her breast to feed a baby. This poses a problem for the creep because Jamie Lynn is a minor, and selling or buying pictures of this nature constitutes pornography. Oh, and then there's the whole issue of stealing Casey's photos.

Let this be a lesson to all of you: Don't get your photos developed at Wal-Mart. Also, don't be a pedophile.

Surprise, Surprise

George Michael got the celebrity treatment this weekend when he was busted for possession of crack and marijuana and then released with a simple warning. The incident occurred at a London airport bathroom after an attendant tipped off police, who gave a "relatively mild punishment" for possession of class A drugs. Who here is surprised?

To smooth over the situation, George released a statement:

I want to apologise to my fans for screwing up again, and to promise them I'll sort myself out. And to say sorry to everybody else, just for boring them.

We have a feeling most fall in the latter category of people Michael was referencing, considering this incident occurred in the post-Crazy Britney era. No hard feelings, George.

After being arrested (along with his son) on drug possession charges, actor Ryan O'Neal issued an unprecedented response (via his attorney): The drugs found in his home didn't belong to him.

Those were not Ryan's drugs, he doesn't use drugs, and has nothing to do with them. It's a dangerous assumption for deputies to have arrested Ryan just because he was in proximity to the drugs.

The lawyer then "declined to specify how a vial of methamphetamines found by sheriff's deputies Wednesday ended up in Ryan's bedroom, or whose drugs they were," but we know what happened: The drug fairies flew in during the night and hid them around the house. It happens all the time.

SQUID BRAINS!

Good news for Kanye West: Looks like he's going to get off without a felony charge after getting into a scuffle with the paparazzi at Los Angeles International Airport last week. According to a law enforcement source, "The thing Kanye had was a detachable flash. It's not of felony value. It wasn't worth $400."

His road manager, Don Crowley, won't get off that easily, because he smashed the body of the photographer's expensive camera on the ground and went on to swipe at the TMZ camera.

That's all good and well, but we want to hear what Kanye has to say about this whole situation. Lord help that MacBook Air.

Barack Obama were confiscated following a routine car stop on Interstate 95 in Upper Chichester, according to Pennsylvania State Police."
