Because they are erudite and well aware that many people's tastes are predictable and easily sated, ABC executives have given the go-ahead to another dancing show, to star – and be hosted by – personalities from a famous dancing show. I feel sick.

…Drew Lachey is stepping into some new shoes – as host of another ABC talent competition, Dance War: Bruno vs. Carrie Ann.

Accompanying the former 98 Degrees member, 31, are some familiar names: Dancing with the Stars judges Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba will be featured in the six-week series airing later this season, the network says.

[Contestants] selected will…work with Tonioli and Inaba to form "the ultimate dance team," with viewers picking the winning group, according to ABC.

Next season, ready your fingers above phones to quickly vote for competitors on Surviving with the Big Brothers of the Fat But Talented Idol Stars. Mario Lopez will be participating in some capacity, and losers will sob and heave. Now, zone out, people!
